Somehow XMR has positioned itself as one of the currencies that investors should pay the most attention to, the reason is unique, apparently the bulls are eager to push the price, of course this has a lot to do with the analysis below:

If they succeed, the XMR/USDT pair could start a relief rally that may reach the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level at $368.45. This level may act as a stiff resistance because traders who had bought at higher levels may close their positions.

Monero I see it well, although there is a lot of uncertainty in the market, it is a coin that I think has a good chance of shining even more.

I know nothing about TA and it might be called a "Doom Rigging" or something if I looked it up, but I am very fond of this little triangle we have forming and think it will need to resolve some way or the other.  With the general crypto landscape looking tentatively  positive I am thinking when we see volume comes it it is likely to be to the upside.  Sorry for jimxing it.

Mini news: Poloniex has XMR in 'wallet maintenance' no withdrawals or deposits.  Normally I would say 'so what' but ETC has been in this 'cage' for months now, and that is no exaggeration, it really has been months.   Eventually of course eventually people sell to get out, so the price drops. ETC was trading 30% under market price at times and it's still under now.

I am deeply suspicious of the ETC nixing, as nothing similar has happened elsewhere and of course an unscrupulous exchange might just scoop up coins and sell them on ANY other exchange at a premium. Oddly NO other exchanges are having the same 'wallet' issue. Now it's our coin which is in the cooler.

So, as they used to say on Hill Street Blues... 'Let's be careful out there'

Yes, Polo was cool back in the day - and Monero was a part of its success.  Like others, I moved there as soon as Monero was listed - just to actually be able to buy some.   

Running XMR pairs was about the exchange's fondness for the coin, I assume. 
Of course Tristan d'Agosta sold up in the end and it's never really been the same since.  It was a bit iffy and chaotic, but it was cool.  It was one of the big exchanges at one point.  I still have a kind of loyalty to it, probably irrationally nostalgic - but lately I have reluctantly moved half my alt trading off it in favour of Finex.

Now Polo's moving as fast as it can into Defi stuff (driven in part by investor Justin Sun of course) but I am a bit too old school for Defi.

I still can't resist trading some alts, though.  That said - all alts except Monero are just for stacking a little BTC.  If I trade Monero, it's to get more Monero.  It's just too good to let go of and certainly underpriced.

Monero at this time is having a lot of relevance, it has attracted the attention of investors, however the market movements for btc have delayed the movements of Monero due to its price drop, Monero may drop a little more in price, however many are waiting to buy in the dip:

The relative Strength Index on Monero’s 4-hour chart highlighted that it was making slight recoveries and heading towards the neutral zone after briefly being the oversold zone. However, selling pressure was dominant over buying pressure which pulled the asset’s price down.

Moreover, Squeeze Momentum Indicator showed dominant bearish momentum as the red bars increased in length at press time.

I think that the best time to buy XMR is now, because if more BTC falls, many investors will buy in the dip, they do similar things to how they do with BTC.

I haven't offloaded anything since 2017, but I've got a verified Kraken account locked and loaded. 

I've been alright, but feeling "meh" in general. I'm tired of working, and not having any free time. Hopefully that will change by the end of 2022. How have you been?

When I got in I bought Monero with about 80% of my bitcoin.  In ~2015 it got up enough that I could sell 1/3rd of it to get back my total BTC stake.  Since then I have only ever done some small transactions to and from other alts, LTC, or the like...  almost not at all.

I have no plan, which may be a bad thing... we will see.

I kept putting it off because then I couldn't sell anything and still didn't do it because of the dump but I have been getting ruined at the casino and will have to cover some bills because well I'm just a degenerate gambler that won't quit when the cards are fucking me.

Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

I never used ltc for anything but back when I was trading to move between exchanges. But I just used it for the first time in years to get my shitcoin (binance coin) to paxos so it looks like it still has utility. I can't believe how much they pumped it. I only had it on there to cover trading fees.

  I've been semi/mostly-retired and living frugally, other than blowing wads of money on RC cars after a 30 year hiatus.  Where do the days go?
