About Bittrex. Just as curiosity.
I have noticed the deliberate bot pattern there.

I have checked many other quite new born or emerging cryptocurrencies which main trading exchange is Bittrex (sometimes they have some 2nd on or 3rd one like Cryptsy or Poloniex but the trade colume there is lower).

It appears that Bittrex bots tend to lower prices down to hover around certain BTC prices, ranging between

0.001, 0.0001, 0.00001, 0.000001, 0.0000001 BTC

up to 4 times mutiplication of it, up to:

0.0014, 0.00014, 0.000014, 0.0000014, 0.00000014 BTC etc. (if the price is a bit larger than the decimation of 0.1 then it seems to be, because there is an interest in buying this certain cryptocurrency).

It seems self evident that prices very seldom reach more than these, like for example 0.00015, 0.000017, 0.0000016, 0.00000018 etc.
When this happens, it is becasue of sudden large amount of coin being purchased within short period of time. Then bots bring the price down again.

I have got an impression that the person who already bought/mined over 15.5 million LTCD (top of richlist) may also be a major crypto speculant waiting for other major exchanges to start dealing LTCD with higher prices so he/she/they can sell LTCD for higher prices and earn a buck.

Wouldnt you do the same if you had that mining-capacity ? I would  Smiley
But we can guess from now until end of days, as long as he/she holds and buying up, no problem. Dumping is not an issue any more, too many BTC worth in his wallet.

Buys 16 million LTCD for 160 BTC (0.00001 BTC/LTCD) and sells this 16 million on other exchange for 192 BTC (0.000012 BTC/LTCD)?

Well, certianly it is a smart thing to do, if you can afford it, but unfortunately it is detrimental to all the rest 99% of miners who cannot afford buying/mining it :-)

And I wouldn't be surprised if it is Bittrex who is responsible for buying all these LTCD.

Then they will dump it on another exchange with higher price.

I wouldn't be, also surprised if that another exchange with higher prices isn't owned by of guys from Bittrex (or their friends)... lol

That's almost a perfect scam :-)

In 80-90% of cases Bittrex offerrs the lowest prices in the market from all major exchanges out there.
I recommend abandoning this exchange and move to other exchanges like Poloniex, BTC-E anbd maybe even Bitter...

Heres a thought.
A few times i have sent a decent amount of coins to an exchange to sell at a good price. But they always seem to take forever to confirm. as if the exchange can see you are about to sell alot of said coin and get theirs sold first.

There is another coin coming that apparently is taking communication between wallets to the next level... Maybe something to look into for our wallet later... Here is a clip...

"SECURE COMMUNICATION

Clients will be able to use anonymous VOIP within the wallet software. Clients will be able to contact others using voice over IP. All connections and communications within this process are encrypted. Conference calls will also be enabled within the network

Clients will be able to message each other within the network this allows clients to send private communications through a messaging system. These messages can contain photos, messages or voice clips. Audio clips can also be bookmarked within the system and be revisited later."

VOIP between wallets and conference calling... Photos... Who knows... Maybe even direct file sharing!!

I like those ideas if they can pull it off we can too!! Anyway I am just looking around for ideas that other coins are planning and doing so we can stay on top of things.

Cheers,

We had this discussion in the team,  but can't really see the point in VOIP insite the wallet. If we make a VOIP solution it should be an app like skype werer you pay with ltcd for voice.
An idea could be an solution like handy safe through the wallet.
Almost all things are possible since we with the 2 gen can build without touching the core. Problem with VOIP is the size of the blockchain and I think the blockchain will get too big and slow with VOIP. Vericoin has made verisend and it dosent look like the biggest success.
But let the idneas floating and bring them in the forum so we can find all ideas again. 😄

I still think it is funny that a single guy is able to mine so many coins Smiley and I do not fear it at all !
