I have just submitted my request on Poloniex to add LTCD to voting list so maybe they will add it to their trade.

You an submit your own request here:
https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

I already did the same this morning

I already did the same this morning
Ahh ok :-)
Maybe if we all flood them with requests they will be persuaded to add it.

I also submitted my ticket on BTC-E but I gues they may be mroe reluctant of adding extra cryptos there :S
We will see. I will copy their reply here once I receive it.

Thanks Xircom and Welcome :-)

Also lives Xircom in the same timzone as I am. In the future there will be more team members and they will be located in the same timezone as TrollbyFire.

So, you are American living in Netherlands? Smiley
No im Danish living in Denmark😜 were bitcoin is tax free just like gold is.

Hahah, thanks yeah I guessed from the flag on the website.

I was thinking about TByFire, becasue I saw an American flag there and I think he mentioned something about Netherlands once :-)
I myself live in UK so just 1 hour difference in time zone :-)

I come from the Netherlands.. I was already thinking that you were trolling me.. lol

Haha no, I was just curious :-)
It's very good that you also both live quite close to each other.
Yes it is and just less than  an hour in a plane.
Next thing is to find a highly skilled coder that can help out Troll.

"Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting BTC-e. Currently we are not planning to add new coins. Please follow our Twitter account and News for updates. If you have further questions, do not hesitate to contact us again. Best Regards, BTC-e Support Knowledge Base"

They don't know what opportunity they are missing, pff :-P

How about not pestering any of the minor exchanges to list LTCD? Why dilute the coin concentration away from the major exchanges by steering volume into the places that have no significance which will likely decrease the perceived value and reputation of the coin? Lesser exchanges won't alleviate any bot problems and will only increase the problem of low-ballers.

Any exchange that decides later to drop LTCD because they can't get enough volume away from the big exchanges will probably lower general confidence in LTCD from the eyes of traders. Best to just leave the little place alone.

BTC-e would have been great. However, they have been very clear for a long time that they pick the coins they want and don't even consider submissions from outside their own staff. They have also been very clear that the staff is NOT interested in adding any coins and won't be in the forseeable future. I inquired about it with somebody on the inside, to see if there were exceptional circumstances that might alter their position and the answer I got from my pal was a very clear NO.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

+1

If anything, work should be done to get LTCD listed on MintPal - that would only help the coin. Small exchanges like Bter won't do any good, and could possibly make the coin seem like the dime-a-dozen coins out there, when in fact it's really going to be the next #2 coin right behind BTC.

Soon the price will reflect that.

First i want to say thank you to the whole community for this oppertunity and will do my best to bring this 2 gen coin to the next level.
As Rob already told i have been working behind the sceane for quite some time and find LTCD the biggest new player since the LTC.
We had our strugles getting over a diff bump, bots, fud ,scam and it showed that this community is the strongest i have seen for a long time.  We made it happen and I feel we will reach the goal in the end.
As you all know we cant grow rapidly without investors (fiat) and to bring these investors to the table we need a freaking awsome feature coin and wallet. It will take time to get there since its done by only 1 magic man at the moment. Troll has the complete roadmap and most important also build it from scratch.. and when this breaks the news,  you all bagholders will be rewarded.
I do not want to push to much PR out at the moment besides articles,  interviews and so on,  because what happens if you see the same logo on all pages but nothing really happens… people get bored.
In the crypto world people are like wolfs and the have to be fed constantly,  but for who,  the miner… or the day dealer?  No,  we need to push hard and i mean hard when something awsome is announced.  Like when auto wallet update,  insite wallet trading,  auto replicate between wallet -IOS-Android.  We need to make this coin the most easy coin to handle and to make people feel safe.
Thatsalso the reason why i think i the future we need to change name,  no fiat investors would put their money into something "dark". I wouldnt !
So if you people would like to help me and the community  to make something uniq please,  shout,  tweet,  make videos on how to mine for beginners,  make news feets or what ever,  just shout !
This coin is by the way going to shake the crypto world as we know it today and im proud to be part in helping it getting there.
Xircom
P.s I do not get paid for this,  om doing this because i feel I have to. Just as i did from the birth of LTCD

If you want help on your team I am more than willing to co-coordinate efforts with you! Also, Congratz!

The more exchanges we add the better.
If most of small exchanges add LTCD then it may also convince the larger ones to add it.

Btw, I would recommending moving away from trading on Bitrrex to Cryptsy as Bittrex bot system seems to work against LTCD.

No.

The larger exchanges are more likely to disregard LTCD if it is made available on the rinky-dink penny-ante exchanges. Screw bter, poloniex, comkort, allcrypt, c-cex, and their ilk.

I agree about moving away from Bittrex. For the reason you stated and for a few other reasons that I won't elaborate on. Mid-size and bigger players with integrity know what I mean.

Guys this is just silence before the storm.
We are working like maniacs to bring out new features and the whitepaper for the 2 gen coin.
As soon this news hits the small ears then be ready for take off.
I wrote coindesk today to see if they would like to be the first to break the news, so lets see what happens  (They have BTC colored eyes) and the whole team is ready.
So far we just need you guys to keep the forum alive and shout, while we are working.
Start to twist your heads around the fact that the coin will change its name to bring in mr and ms petersen to the 2 gen coin, but the name has to be stunning and something that even the 12 year old remembers when he starts up his savings in the bank for the first time.... that good !

Yea but the volume is so low on Cryptsy.

That's why we have to move to Cryptsy.

Bittrex currently makes up about 70% of LTCD trade and Cryptsy about 25%.

Not asking for a specific answer, but has a new name been decided?

That sounds very interesting :-)

Although I like the current name but I think it is a good idea. It would differentiate it from current trend of naming coins in "dark" fashion.
As long as it is not some silly name like Dogecoin, Cannabiscoin, HoboNickels etc lol

We would probably need to change the name asap instead of changing it once LTCD is too established.

We would need to be careful when voting for new name, because someone may try to be smart and buy a domain with this name and they try to sell it to you lol
Unpredictable

We also have to consider POS.
Just an exsample me and my wife experinced the other day at the meeting with my private banker.
She was looking through our assets and when we got to the BTC thing she looked up and said..."What is Bitcoin"... I was paralized for a second!
This is what the crypto world is up against, but I think we could be the first to do this.

If I go to the bank with my savings I can max get 0,1% intrest... Wouldnt you think an investor would like to have 1% interest... I think so!
The most wealthy generation we have on the globe today are the 60-80 year old people and nobody will ever be that rich ever again, the world has changed.
Banks dosent payout interest some even do negeative intrest rates.
If we have a coin that would run forever and a POS of 1%.... I didnt have to think twice were to put my money.
But I could be wrong, what do you think ?
