Block reward reduction is at block 37000. Actual halving will continue on schedule.
I still don't understand why some are worried about the price "right now". Isn't it better to worry about the price "later"? Honest question; as I've said, I don't market.
Is there a link for the timeline of the next halving? Or a date estimate? thnx. ~darylluke. |

Yes the bots is on it again and will keep to do so because the coin is attractive.
I hope we can prevent the multipools from dumping with the new reward system and keep the coin mineable for a long time, thats the goal and it seems like it will work.

Those silly people selling so cheap lol. Once the next halving hits coins will be so hard to get and try to buy them back at what they sold them for good luck lol. If they really knew what was on the horizon lol .
Do tell!  But seriously, at this point where do see it going by the end of the week? I hope we will see a steady climb upwards and hopefully not in rocket speed. I'm not worried about the price, since the price will go up. Just remember that we are still in the beginning and that the 2 gen has not even kicked in yet. What do you think will happen when the 2 gen is released |

I have been around for a while and seen a fair few coins go through their block halving and on a good percentage of them it made little difference to the price.
I get the feeling with this coin though that the price will rise slow and steady. The miners that are planning on leaving will come back one day for sure. One thing that is important is that the ltcd brand name is sprayed about all of the time.
You guys have done a wonderful job on the coin so far, that's the dev team and the community members.
Carry on kids, the coin is still young and will carry on growning for a long while yet

Well, would be great if you could get stable on 1400-1500 and then rise a lot more when the insane halfing comes! The bots are on it, so it will as long as they are. Its the third most traded coin at Bittrex and if you look at the rich list, no dumping from top 100, so investors are holding :-) Just imagine what will happen when block reward kicks in and then a again when 2 gen coin is released.... Dondt worry about price, the coin is not even near its potential. Coins are just changing hands from weak to steady and that's good for the LTCD. |

Darksend went open source yesterday so I was hoping LTCD could adopt or build on it.

Price was going really well last night until someone(s) laid down six stacks of 5 BTC walls around 15. From that moment the price
stopped rising. Im certain the price would have hit 20. Interesting there hasnt been a price crash due to those walls so if the whale(s)
were looking for cheaper coins their walls arnt working. Maybe they should consider removing those walls.....let the price go up
and they can join in the fun to. Alternatively its the person who owns 40% of this coin playing games..but its really in thei interest
to push the price upward, not downward...

Please look at the rich list. Almost no movement in top 100 and it keeps like that. The clever investors knows, they are just waiting to buy up the week hands before it goes further up. |
