Is this a hard fork/mandatory update? If yes, at which block is the fork?

It is not a hardfork/mandatory but we recommend you to update because a lot of cleanup into the code is done.

I think it's only a wallet update. Currently at block 46.300 and next halving is at 51.255. Not sure if the next hard fork is implemented then tho.

No, there was an issue with the fork so we reverted back to the 1.1 wallet. Today's release is the 1.1.2 wallet which does not reduce the block rewards.

Well, this is weird. Are we missing something? BTCD caught on pretty quickly, but in some sense, it's less active than LTCD. I'm pretty sure LTCD came out first, but, as soon as BTCD hit the market a small surge was flocking to it. Of course, it's lost it's value, but is something missing in LTCD or do we just need to...

Fire up?

If only it was at 900 Sats again, and I'd go crazy and buy more. Sad. Well, I lost my chance basically so I'm on the roof about waiting or buying now.

This may sound stupid but CTRL + F5 or clear cache/cookies worked for me, site kept loading in cached.

Didn't know of that. I only found out a few weeks ago (I guess), when it made it's way onto the front page. Don't know if it's my timezone or not, but I haven't heard much else from it and the value decreased a bit.

Thanks for telling me.

Yea the link works fine, I wasn't very clear sorry. He stated he couldn't reach the site itself already before even trying the wallet link so I'm guessing the browser(s) opening the cached version.

Good question about the Linux wallet, could mean more community support for LTCD. Hoping it's stated in the revised whitepaper or else one of the dev's could shed some light on it? Smiley

Was kind of a long shot anyway. Cheesy
Isn't cloudflare (or even BT) the problem here? Maybe connect to the IP to check if it's a DNS issue?
