Only just joined this thread, I see there's a lot of reading to be caught up on.

As far as the BTC fundraising being completed on a centralised exchange, and with the sudden talk of legal compliance issues on polo, (no doubt compounded by pressure from certain altcoin holders that may be buttering busonis bread) wouldn't the best option be to use decentralized platform like counterparty in conjunction with token vending machine like http://www.vennd.io/ ?

Users would send to the BTC address and automatically be credited with proportional amount of tokens. The whole process would be auditable, and users would have ownership- retaining ability to back these up to paper wallets, transfer/trade them etc.

Example token: http://blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=SJCX

(Same process used for Swarm, storj etc)

Example of the process for buying an XCP token

http://betxcp.com/vennd
can they implement the linearly increasing 15% bonus, multiple currencies and also dynamically control the amount of TOKEN that is available?

This is probably a dumb question, but after the initial ICO phase wiill the supernet assets be tradeable through an exchange like polo or bittrex, or only through NXT based echanges / GUI?

poloniex is already trading JLH and they said they will trade UNITY
of course bter will also
and NXT AE
I dont know if bittrex is doing assets yet, but I imagine not long after UNITY is making some nice daily volumes and in the top 10 CMC, most exchanges will be trading it

14:00 GMT is suggested as the start time
any objections to this time?
not sure of date, just trying to find the best time of day

In amongst all the twitter spamming trying to pump rumours about Ethancoin joining the supernet, I spotted one from the nxtcommunity declaring 5th September as being the ICO date. Is this correct?

I mean, they have a countdown clock and everything!

Did I miss a post where you went from the above to deciding to ninja the launch?

previous page announced: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346.msg8679376#msg8679376
in about a day and 6 hours it will start

So the 6th of september 12:00 GMT right ?
I am bad with timezones, it is supposed to be 14:00 GMT on Saturday
can someone verify if http://www.nxtcommunity.org/ is showing the correct time?

It is currently 6:33 GMT.
+ 1day and 6:26 makes it 13:00 GMT tomorrow.

Or am i completely dumb ?
I didnt set up the clock. If we are sure it is wrong I have to get it fixed

Pretty sure it's wrong Smiley

re: linearly decreasing bonus - pretty sure that can be done,  you pull the data pertaining to that from external source.
re: multiple currencies - no. It's primary purpose is to send BTC to an address and automatically receive token back direct to wallet you control. and have that process be auditable and transparent.
re: dynamic control of token that is available. yes, you can issue more, transfer etc, then lock the asset when distribution finalized

support for NXT, BTCD were required, fiat support like CNY is nice, but the best part is I didnt have to do any of the work. I am short on time, so I needed a fully hands off solution

it is asset backed
I did sharkfund0 1500 BTC and NAV was tripled in about three months and that was just doing investments and had no income producing capability.
you can always send your burden to some random address you dont have the password to. That's what I do when I am feeling burdened

nahh james sorry i cant send friends strangers and family members constantly asking for monetary aid to a 'random address i dont have the password to'
everything surrounding the money is the devil not the funds themselves.  its hard to hide. it absolutely gets to the core of oneself

I did sharkfund0 1500 BTC and NAV was tripled in about three months and that was just doing investments and had no income producing capability.

honestly NxT whales invested over a period of 3 months cuz there was nothing better to do with the NxT obviously.. doesnt really mean anything man. doesnt mean supernet gonna be the same. arrogance and flying too close to the sun can make people fall fast and hard plz dont forget being modest and expect the little not the ethereum-bash

all the best of luck for u.

Not an IPO. Voluntary participants donating funds in return for a requirement on them to work hard for no guaranteed rewards.

Presumably it will be possible to buy tokens on BTER, and withdraw the tokens to NXT wallet to be converted to UNITY there, rather than waiting until the end of the month for BTER to autoconvert to UNITY and withdrawing that? (Because of the problems with leaving large amounts of money on centralised exchanges, and all...)

Is it possible to transfer the tokens to a "wallet" on my own instead of leaving it there on Bter?

So I should not utilize the TOKEN/NXT exchange on Bter?  It looks available to purchase.

not TOKEN
you need to wait for it to get converted to actual SuperNET, symbol UNITY

And after that it can be transferred? I don't like my coins sitting on an exchange, so i hope it can be transferred to a place i want.
