Hey All, Just started 'full-time' mining here. The kano.is pool got too vast for me to continue there. My little farm is wayyyy down for it's quarterly earnings (or lack of). In the red big-time and I am hoping I get lucky. Just an FYI...I can only hang in until the end of the month....and then I will need to see if I can recoup any of the hardware costs. I already know, that unless the ancient Gods are looking down at me...I will never get back the costs of electricity. With that introduction to this thread....GOOD LUCK to ALL of us! Comon...somebody here find a block. It would be great to hear a 'little-guy' story from this. CapnBDL  |

All the stats (that are statistically worth taking notice of) over 50 Blocks are well over 100% luck |

I even have a block on the acclaim list. It is just no longer break-even mining there for the 1.25Th/s I have been contributing to the pool. I am not lucky enough to have free electricity. So..gonna give it a try here until the end of the month. If I manage to hit one...then I can afford to update my equipment and get back into the 'high-dollar' mining game/hobby which kano.is has become. Regards and best of luck to the pool, CapnBDL |

At least you've hit a block  , I still haven't and have probably spent 25 BTC trying over the past couple of years  . I'm surprised its taken so long to find a block again, whenever I check pool stats its around 1PH, 1.34PH at present which obviously isn't enough now  . |

I still remember my 19th hitting a block in January -- in fact in January, we had plenty of blocks from small miners and also big players (willi's lotto hit more than 1 block in that run)... the average pool PH was 3-4ph, if i can recall correctly.
I think we need to unite and start our bets at a specific day of the week/month so that our pool average is maximised.
So let's say every Friday - throughout the weekend, all of our solo runs starts off the block on Friday... more PH, more random luck, more winners=?
at KANO.IS we have Block Friday Party.
at SOLO.CKPOOL we have Solo Friday Party?
Does this makes sense?
