On a separate note. I just bought S5 hash the other day (for the fist time). I'm still waiting for it to go online, but once it does, I can theoretically just turn around and re-sell the entire hash on the market place, right?

Yes you can. Once it goes live you are free to do with it as you wish

Will the auto-rebuy buy only when we reach 0.666 or it buy part of th ?
It buys part of a TH, and compounds.  It starts off increasing slow, but if you leave it on can really increase your Hash and principal amount.
I'm trying this myself. Does this mean that it starts paying off the adjusted principal and profit from the increased hash rate as soon as I flip the switch to stop the auto buy.

What would happen if I were to just auto buy for 120 days amassing hash rate, then stopped the auto buy. More profit at the end due to having to work off the larger principal ?

They are probably afraid the exchange rates for BTC are about to drop.

The hard fork debate is most likely going to sink the BTC USD exchange rate as FUD gets out of control.

This is going to make the next 2 months very interesting.

I think price is slowly being adjusted to the fact halving day is less than year ahead which will cause S5 contract being virtually worthless. Current ROI takes too long at this rate and it is quite clear after 260 days it won'tbe possible to sell S5 at reasonable level. I think if you already ROIed selling all hashes now would yield the same income as keep mining and selling later.

should bitmain add the antminer S5+ into the hashnest? (cheaper than antminer S5 in case of mining, and less electric power needed.)
that would make more sense and we would have more choice of whatever.
let's get the hashnest mining to user selectable in order to ensure the legitimacy of their service.
let's see how's going.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

You forget one important aspect, BTC price. According to your theory, BTC price ll stay constant after halving and this ll make S5 worthless. I can assure you, this is NOT going to happen. Look at LTC, couple months before halving, the price went up 3x. If something similar happens to BTC, S5 will mine less BTC, but at the same time that BTC ll be valued more.

This is the only option. If this does not happen, half of the farms will close down and there will be no BTC to satisfy demand and the price ll go up again to compensate.

I think recent BTC and S5 price movements are related to this BTC XT issues as well as naive belive ETH will be the next crypto gold. So many people sold their crypto assets to buy ETH. The result is not what they have expected, at least not yet.

Of course you're right, I was just reacting to your original question. Sure if BTC goes up the price of S5 contract should go up. Not like until recently when it reacted to price of S5 hardware set by Bitmain and in exactly opposite way as it 'should' Wink

As btc price goes down so does the S5 the reason for this is the value of buying a physical miner decreases. Remember on hash nest u can still buy S5 for dollar value. All other miners have no shop so they aren't affected like the S5 is.

All Hashnest contracts are in price downtrend now. I am standing aside and not trading until MA5 crosses MA15 on the UMISOO daily chart.

Looks like a lot of money was pulled and is being pulled to put into PACMiC contracts since the return on V3 is so good.  Once the buying settles down you should see a gradual up swing in price as people start to get profits returned and put into hash until they can buy more contracts or the next version comes out.

Question on PACMiC v2: If I have turned on autobuy at some point, is my "Principal" here correct?
With this contract, I currently am supposed to have 1.42428115TH/s. Should my "Principal" also be 1.42428115BTC, or something similar?

No, your principal will not grow at the same rate as your mining speed.  That seems to be correct the way that it is.

Okay, so now I have a question.  Can you still have Autobuy on for v2? I thought once they sold out, and v3 launched Autobuy would be turned off, and start paying back toward principal?

Yes it starts paying you back once V2 is all sold out.  I have around 8 btc worth of contracts from V2 with autobuy enabled still, but they are paying me back now instead of continuing to accrue.
