I can already see the headline in bitcoin news magazine.

Miracle Math. One sixth of the world,s hashrate fails to find a single block in ten going on twelve hours. Thought to portend the second coming of satoshi.

I think they simply stop mining since the price of BTC get lower than 230 USD, just to collect the maintenance fees.
Of course it's just my opinion nothing more

The pool has been and is reporting about 67 ghs mining. And also reporting not finding a block since 6 am utc, likelihood zero.

Can you kindly share with me these info please  Wink

Well, I just did I guess but you can look up antpool at hashnest.com and follow found blocks and hashrate at blockchain of course.

What do you mean by "lose" their investment? No money back for those terminated contracts?
Anyway I think they will mine again as Bitcoin price is rising.

Nothing back at all, they are sold as a contract that runs until 10 days have passed where maintenance fees are higher than income.

At the moment 6 days have gone by, bitcoin would need to reach ~$249 dollars in the next 4 days for them to continue, can't see that happening.

That's ridiculous man. If all UMISOO investors will lose their whole investments, that doesn't make any sense. Why don't people sell for whatever price now? It's better than lose them all.

UMISOO is a high reward but high risk contract and my favorite to trade when bitcoin price is above $260. Hashnest makes clear on their website the terms of UMISOO. If you happen to own UMISOO you can sell now but the offer price is almost nothing. Traders got out of UMISOO when the price started to downtrend weeks ago. Right now UMISOO and S2 contracts are only profitable if bitcoin price is over $256. S5 is profitable down to $130, S4 is $181 and S3 is profitable above $214.

Wow, I better sell my UMISOO contracts now. I thought they will start mining again at 220$.

Yup, this is the longest block on Hashnest since I use it. Consequently, today there will be no money from them.

Exactly how do they pull off this scam? Obviously it,s utterly impossible to both report about one sixth of the world,s hashrate mining for over ten hours and also report not finding a single block during that period. Think of the odds.

go ahead and figure the odds, we will wait, (ill save you a step, its not impossible and not that unlikely).

It,s clearly very close to zero %. We,re talking one sixth of the world,s hashrate here and over ten hours. Over the period blocks were found at the usual normal and very predictable rate elsewhere.

What i'm trying to clarify with my post is that when we say "the chances of this phenomenon to appear is 1 in a million" the possibility of this phenomenon to appear is very tiny but can happen. And i feel very unlucky 'cause i also lose money... Sad

Umisoo price has gone from 0.00006990 to 0.0001, why would it be going up, and why is ANYONE buying it  Huh

Bitcoin price is heading back up, it doesn't take a lot of capital to buy a lot of shares, so even small players can move thin markets pretty easily.  Plus what better bet than trying to earn big on a .1 btc investment betting that the price will go up another 15 dollars or so.

It was at 32000 sat. two weeks ago then it dropped to what 6-7000 and now at 10000 or so. So you can say for the moment that it,s going back up however long that lasts.

As for bitcoin, much of your bear market rallies in other markets is shorts covering momentarily and this probably applies to  this long bitcoin bear market as well.

They probably shut down miners for 10 hours, now it's back online again.
UMISOO prices are affordable right now. Buy now, you can easily sell tomorrow for %20-30 profit.

Well, I was going on today in the trollbox about how great that rumor about the s3 for umisoo sounded. Pallets of miners for peanuts and bitcoin back at 300 down the road. Cute speculation. But I,m not interested. If others can profit from it good for them.
