Wow, I hope you have funds in an exchange to buy coins if you fall short.  "Futures" on bitcoins seem extremely risky to me.

I've got a stash of coins in a savings wallet, I'm just doing my damnedest to not dip in to it!

So wait, now that there are 3 servers with 3 separate hashing speeds, does that mean that the rewards variance is higher?

Or, in other words, is BTC Guild now 3 300 ghash/sec pools instead of one 900 one for rewards purposes? Yeah, I know it'll all even out in a week anyway but the difficulty increases about that often and I want to reduce my risk.

Rewards are combined between the 3 pool servers.  This is the exact same as running on a single large pool, I've just split it across multiple datacenters in order to provide members with the option to manually point to a closer server.

That's not why he was asking; he was asking to find out if it is now three separate independent hashing pools, each trying to find a block separately at 200 GH/s, or if the hashes are being directed to one main pool for a rate of 600 GH/s.  Three smaller pools would find blocks slower each, so the variance would be high

Legacy signature from 2011:
All rates with Phoenix 1.50 / PhatK
5850 - 400 MH/s  |  5850 - 355 MH/s | 5830 - 310 MH/s  |  GTX570 - 115 MH/s | 5770 - 210 MH/s | 5770 - 200 MH/s

API is currently polling some stats incorrectly. This should be fixed early tomorrow morning.
