Well, I think people don't hate Islam rather it is the bad people who are not practicing what the religion is preaching,that are making Islam look bad.so they tend to generalize based on their bad experiences.

I don't hate Islam nor do I hate all Muslims. I do hate Muslims extremists though. Unfortunately for moderate Muslims, the extremists get all the attention due to the violence that they commit. I also believe that the extremists and extremist supporters occupy a larger percentile of the global Muslim population than anyone will public ally admit.

I am here to just say one thing? Why do YOU hate islam? and you should really give a valid reason not a shitty one that says 'Because media'

after a long while not checking the forums I see that the same threads are still going on, the hate on Islam is a very complexe topic, first of all people confuse Islam the religion and what do people make of it, just check out what is Islam is in Morocco and compare it to say Afghanistan you find a totally different narrative and I'm not even going to talk about the different currents such as Shiaaa Sunnii ect and then in the currents you have branchs Sophism wahabism ect.

So a lot of people hate islaam not because of their experience with it but just to what they get throught the media and hear from others, and the middle east being the shit hole that it is doesn't help at all

I agree that Muslims are humans. But that doesn't mean that we should respect all the aspects of their religion. For example, their holy book urges Jihad (physical war) against the infidels. Why should any non-Muslim respect this part? And the same book calls for homosexuals to be thrown to their deaths from high cliffs. Do you want to respect this verse as well?

There is no compulsion in Islam. And Islam is a religion of peace, so no one should hate Islam. Islam is peaceful, we call people to this Deen with knowledge and wisdom. I see no reason why anyone should hate Islam. Islam is Peace. I am a Muslim and I believe in Jesus Christ and all other Prophets of Allah.

I think it is because of the misconceptions and negative ideas people come to believe about Islam. Islam, as it is discussed in the Quran, is a religion of peace. Therefore, what terrorists are doing and spreading are merely their own twisting of what the real teaching of Islam is. That's why many people hate it, for they don't know what the real thing is, and they only believe what they hear without even knowing and studying it for themselves.

Very true, just because these extremists are Muslims doesn't mean that all Muslims are terrorists. In America, the religion of most offenders are Catholics, do we hate Catholics? Are we saying all Catholics are criminal? No. We should broaden our thinking. We shouldn't hate the religion the extremists represent. We should hate terrorism altogether.
