When you look at the blocks page and see your name there Smiley

Mine @ pools that pay Tx fees & don't mine empty blocks :: kanopool :: ckpool ::
Should bitmain create LPM for all models?

Either your miner will tell you like this:

Or if you have AwesomeMiner (which i highly suggest you purchase) You can see it like this:

Or if the pool solves a block you can see your username in the block solve list, like this:

That's my block Wink

Edit: Your best bet to see if you solved a block in the past is to go to the blocks page, hit Ctrl + F and do a search for your BTC address (if mining by only address) or your username

Hi Kano - the transaction didn’t seem to come though with the pools block confirm.

It’s alright though, it was a nice gesture all the same. I’d prefer you don’t go out of your way to fix it. You do enough for the pool and especially the community, as it is. If everyone in bitcoin was like you we’d already been to the moon and back 5 timez.

Acknowledgement of my message with a personal response Is enough of a reward as it is.

I’m such a goddamn nerd. When I read that I actually solved a bitcoin block, in 2018, I nerded all over the place. Then when I saw my solve was 1.3T higher than current difficulty I practically shit my pants. I told my few BTC savvy friends, made a Facebook post that no one understood, cared about or even simply acknowledged. There’s about 10 replies to it, all from me, mostly related to how rare and difficult is to claim a block.

Couldn’t be happier to have solved it for your pool rather than one owned by that asshole Jihan. Don’t get me wrong, I have incredible respect for the engineering marvel that is the S9, but I wish his business practices were more in line with taking bettering the coin and community. Show me one bitcointalk thread wheee Jihan interacts with one of his pool miner. That’s a major contributor to your awesomeness

Anyways, thanks for being you man!

Shawn

Should confirm in our next block.   You'll get it, you earned it!

MINE ON WITH KANO-SAN!

Ahhh My fault. I thought he meant it would confirm after my block confirmed.

Sorry Kano-San!

Thanks for the clarification guys!

And you're welcome. I'm more than happy to have solved a BTC block in general, it's icing on the cake that it was with Kano's pool Cheesy

I certainly didn't expect a reward for solving a block!

Thanks guys!

Shawn

its prolly a large free transaction so will likely need to wait for us to put it in a block so mine harder Cheesy.  and bitman will learn its lesson when more companies start to produce miners. they made a significant business mistake in public relations companies like canaan will quickly become the "goto" if they can keep there prices competitive i know i would swap my s9 for an 814 hands down and wont be getting anymore s9.

Going on luck, we're due a few 100+% blocks here, which would be solved in about 50 hours give or take.   Patience Daniel-san

I mean, I'm just happy that, in my opinion, one of the best people in crypto not only acknowledged the block i solved for the pool, but wants to compensate me for my AwesomeMiner purchase because i love the software, and he wrote the API.

that's the special part to me.

You think Marek "Slush" Palatinus would show up in his forums as much as Kano does? even when he did run the pool i doubt he was in the bitcointalk forums for his pool at about 2% the frequency Kano is. (which also happens to be the outrageous fee he/they charge to mine on that pool).

I thought i was savvy by mining with slush when i first got the antminers because i used to mine hundreds of coins there in late 2010. I spent far too long mining on the wrong pool.

EDIT: I'm not here to slam other pools, but the numbers speak for themselves Wink

MINE ON WITH KANO-SAN!

The good news is, we're never due a 100+% block - statistics say we're always due at 100%

50% already... "Woah! We're half way there!"

The bad news is... We're always due at 100 % from where we currently are

I wonder if this follows the quantum cat principle  - if we don't check it, then we are always due at 100%...until we do check.
