It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Thanks for the feed back! As I had stated, I added the link (clickable) to my posts. I just wanted to be clear, that I let people know where to go. I've added it to the gif, and corrected the fee. I didn't add to the original, for the sake of keeping it as close to the original Mario as possible.

Also, I'd like to point out, the Chinese translates to: big reward small fee great support helpful community. Mostly added for the nostalgic look, but it still conveys a relevant message. It's not intended for our Chinese audience, so thats as far as I went. I do have, and I am working on Similar visually stimulating promo's for other Languages and cultures. Surprisingly, they have already gotten shared, and are receiving some attention.

Well, not sure how you "artificially" increase the speed of a miner.

All that matters is the shares submitted - if there's more of them accepted at the same difficulty, or the same amount accepted but higher difficulty, then yep that's good.

If you mean to increase the hash rate above what it normally runs at, then you're most likely gonna shorten it's life dramatically.

Oh in case anyone didn't notice ... there was a diff change 18 hours ago ... JUST after the last block Smiley
Code:
[2018-03-18 11:40:16.161+00] workinfo_add(): DIFF CHANGE: hi=514080 delta=5.23% new=3462542391191.6 prev=3290605988755.0
And of course the last block was 514075 at 2018‑03‑18 11:12:43 UTC

5.23% - well that's a lot better than the last couple Smiley

my miner had a standard speed of 11 TH / s, I increased the core frequency to 618, and now he stably gives out 13.2-13.3 TH / s

Hmm - well the question is why it's standard speed was 11TH/s?

If it was running slower than it could run stably, then yep clocking it up faster should be fine.

But as I said, clocking it up faster can shorten the life of it, and if it's faster than it should run, then that will shorten it's life dramatically.
Hopefully that's not the case and it's OK Smiley

Does it make sense that some have bailed out due to profitability concerns (i.e. Electric cost & lower BTC-to-USD price)?

I hear that. Of course, I was mainly wondering about it from the perspective of it's easing affect on difficulty increases.
