Well obviously Kano fixed the pool code, right? Hopefully some/most/all of the hash that came to bust that block stays on this pool. Aannd... It's gone. Any idea why these big fish leave? If they would stay it would be a 5ph or larger pool. We are still over 100% long term and top notch code and service. Just don't see where they can do better, I think anything over 100% luck is best you can do compared to the pools you have to choose from. Unless they usually solo mine, just don't get it. Any insight anyone? I imagine that Kano or ck called in a favor to some big fish or it was just some good Samaritans that felt the need to help the pool bust a block. Whatever the reason, thank you! More than likely rented hash...

More than likely rented hash... I think you are correct. I sent 250th in rentals at the 500 percent mark. I do this with this pool when a bad block happens. I sure I am not the only one. I also do this with mmpool.org and solo.ckpool.org

More than likely rented hash... No, one was Bitclub and they've pointed PH+ here before. I forget the other PH+ player, but I don't thing they were rented, either.

Yeah I rented some large hash for a bit too, while I could afford it. But didn't help. LOL.

I am close to even for the two fifty th I rented during the the 2x satan block. I think I need two blocks in under 125 percent.

If you started any time during the last 167% of the 666.666% block, then you will be on target of 100% (or better the later you started) for 4 blocks already. So yeah that just depends on the next block if you hit the 100% for 5 blocks and the expected average payout. Also, the average fee was quite good on those 4 so the PPS on them (again if you started mining during the last 167% of the 666.666% block) should be ~99.95% after removing the pool fee.

I like your 5n system. So I keep an eye at the pool and every once in a while do a nice rental. Must be the eighth on ninth time I have done it. Kind of fun.

Looks like the 2.4PH mining to an address is back on the pool. Anyone know if this is a large renter or a small farm?

Damn power-outs!!
...and Internet outages. Mine went out around 2am and apparently my 4xSP20 rig still uses about 1000W even when not mining anything (a design flaw IMHO)! Nothing like burning away several kWh during the night while the rig does nothing . The Internet is still down (a tech comes out tomorrow) but I'm back mining again after rigging up a WiFi router into client mode to connect my cell phone AP into the house Ethernet to run the miners. Oh, and yes, the flaky miner required a hair dryer restart after changing the the network settings.

Kano,
Do you see any info on why my miners with lee group (S5) are doing failovers? Looks like it started last week and occurs multiple times a day. I posted in their thread, but others don't seem to be having the problem except when using this pool. Are we missing a setting somewhere?
Thanks!
