Yes if you look in the last block we found it says /BIP100/
https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/bea32ad8913acf8a0b656b4707c64bd0462fcbbe536fccbe7b0cf459a0ce86cb

That was what was discussed (indirectly) about 2 days ago with other pools.
F2Pool has already added it also - thus you'll find it's already up to 10% of blocks.

Very proud of my beast!  Weird, I was looking at it with its 63G best share but 0 block found!   Undecided  I had to go on the pool site to see it was one of my miners.  I guess there's a bug in that version of my S4's firmware.

Anyway, it's been confirmed!  Yayyy!!

Sorry to ask pretty new to the pool. Can any one tell me what the N Avg means? Here are my stats from the last block found

371679   25.17686501   271.726G   213hr 21m 16s   1.52PHs   0.01%   16.824M   94.08GHs   0.00155883, and the block before that was
371501   24.81602975   271.666G   209hr 49m 29s   1.54PHs   0.00%   7.677M   43.65GHs   0.00070124

I only have a S3 connected to the pool. But payout seems really low compared to what I was making off  Ant or Nice hash.

I am still really new to mining so still trying to figure out the differences in between the different pools.

THanks

Hi all
Just want to give my observations using Kano's pool.
I have mined on most all of the popular pools for bitcoin. From my own experience Kano's pool pays the best.
I have had as much as 17ths of equipment that I own, also have rented a lot of hash with different pools.
Kano's pool has always paid better than Ant-pool,Btc guild, slush and I started with Bitminter ( I have NOT had any hash pointed at Bitminter
since last August) .  Recently I pointed some of  my hash at Antpool for 6 weeks. I was ready to quit mining again because I was not making any money.  Then  I sent everything back to Kano pool and it feels like I have new life again. I will keep my miners here nonstop and add rented hash with no worries.

Long story short........ THANK YOU KANO !    You have a great pool and I lost money when I tried other pools.
Now if you can get the MORONS to stop the hard fork on block size...................

I value your hard work and commitment to the pool and Bitcoin.

Link regarding payouts: https://kano.is/index.php?k=payout

Firstly the meaning of the fields.
My miner reward for that block:
Code:
Block   Miner Reward  N Diff    N Range        Pool N Avg  Your %  Your N Diff  Your N Avg  Your BTC
371679  25.17686501   271.726G  213hr 21m 16s  1.52PHs     0.09%   231.049M     1.29THs     0.02140793
Miner Reward - the part of the full block (99.1%) paid to all miners
N Diff - the 5Nd value actually used - as the Help->Payout page mentions, it's usually a bit more than 5Nd (and should average half a shift more)
N Range - the time range for the "N Diff" - i.e. how far back in time shares were rewarded for this block
Pool N Avg - Pool's average hash rate over "N Range"
Your % - Of all shares that were rewarded in that block, that was "Your %" of them
Your N Diff - Your total difficulty of shares rewarded - which will match: "N Diff" * "Your %"
Your N Avg - Your average hash rate over the full "N Range" time period - if you didn't mine 100% of "N Range" then your average hash rate will of course be lower than your miner's total hash rate
Your BTC - Your reward Smiley

Note that the hash rates will be shown as per the pool's actual accepted shares.

Your reward per block is dependent upon how much work you supplied in the reward range.

The Reward range is 5Nd (as it says in the pool help page) so if you haven't been mining for the full 5Nd then your reward for a given block will be proportional to your % of the range that you were mining.

The long term side effect of the 5Nd is to reduce variance.

Another way to word what actually happens in the calculation to produce this result is:
Your shares get rewarded in the 5Nd after each share is submitted, so it takes a while for each share to be fully rewarded.
Each share is expected to be rewarded 5 times (plus a tiny bit more) on average - so ~5 times.
Any more blocks found in the 5Nd after each share will reward those shares again, with an expected average of being rewarded a total of 5 times if pool luck was always 100%

Thanks Smiley

Of course the payouts are dependent upon the luck of the pool, which fortunately, over time, has been > 100%

But the high expected average is the main factor in that.

Ignoring orphans, the recent expected average is 100% PPS
Block rewards averaged over the last 50 blocks: 25.234287 BTC = 100.9% PPS
So pool miner reward of 99.1% of 100.9% is 100% PPS if pool luck was 100%

... it's also interesting to note that pool luck over the last 50 blocks is currently 111.47%

Also the pool itself and how it handles work changes keeps orphans at a very low rate.
So far only 2 since the pool started (2 in 313 or 0.64%) so that would push the 100% PPS average down to 99.36% if pool luck was the expected 100%

Yeah i have to say. You're pretty attentionate and your pool is performing very well.
Luck has felt pretty rough for the past 2 or so week but it probably just feel that way because we dropped drastically in Hashrate.

I only have a S3 connected to the pool. But payout seems really low compared

You're getting paid for 94 and 43 GH/s, your S3 should be more like 450 GH/s.  Therein lies your low payouts.

And just in case all the explanations weren't clear enough. The reason those values are gecox22's current numbers is is because of the 5Nd method. Basically after 5 blocks you would have your expected 5Nd gh of 450gh or whatever speed it is its running, if properly, at.

The Reward range is 5Nd (as it says in the pool help page) so if you haven't been mining for the full 5Nd then your reward for a given block will be proportional to your % of the range that you were mining.
