Another ckdb restart coming up in the next few minutes.

No mining will be affected.

Usual 13-15 minutes web stats outage

More behind the scenes changes, and one new field on the Block Statistics page "MeanTx%" showing the Block Reward ratio for the block range.
e.g. if each of the last 5 blocks, the block reward was 25.25BTC each time, then it would show 101% for the 5 block range.

Edit: completed

Well your submitted total to the pool at the moment is only about 2.7G Diff - so yeah that's pretty good luck when diff is around 60G Smiley

Hi, on monday i will ship my last 2 antminer s5 (i've selled all my good rigs), so now i'm hashing with an antminer u3 and a prospero undervolt (it hashes at 425gh/s). I bought an s7, but it is not suipped, yet. My contribution to this fantastic pool will be smaller but i hope it will rise in a while.
Keep with the good work!!

Played with: USB RedFury - BlackArrows Prospero X1/X3 - Butterfly Monarch- Spondoolies SP20E - Avalon 6 - Antminer U3/S3/S3+/C1/S5/S7 Batches 3-7-8 - Sfards SF100 - Innosilicon A2 Terminator - Alcheminer 96/256 - KNC Titan - Etherum Rigs

Well, luckily, I'm having chicken tonight... and will be making chicken soup, so hopefully that will also help us out! Cheesy

I have been mining here coming up on a year now and I think everyone will agree that this is hands down the best pool going. I think it is pretty obvious to everyone how much work Kano puts into this pool on a consistent basis. I also know he lives in a part of the world where electricity is very expensive and any type of ROI can be difficult. If you truly appreciate this pool (as many post that they do) why don't throw a little of your hash or point a miner his way if you can afford it and lets see if we can't get his name moved up higher on the pool's stat page and keep it there.

PM him and ask him to create a worker for you to point his way, I am pretty sure he would be appreciative.

Just my 2 cents and Happy Mining.

If you mean PCI-e cables then I ended up getting my last collection on amazon.
A local shop sold me half a dozen a couple of years ago but when I went to find them again about 10 months ago they'd closed.

I got a bunch off amazon coz they were reasonably cheap, but you have to be careful regarding using all the connectors on the ants depends on the models, since the specs of a typical PCI-e cable are not enough to stop getting very hot if you don't use enough.
e.g. on an S5 unless you use all 4 connectors to spread the power over 4 cables, you risk overpowering the connectors and cables and even melting them.

The cables need to have either 6 wires on both ends, or with 8, as long as the male end splits 6/2 also, so you can usually get either.

Hi

I am very new to BTC. I pointed my minner to pool.

Under Worker Management option "Minimum Diff" - What value i need to put.

* A value of 0, less than the pool minimum,
or less than the pool calculated value for you,
will use the pool calculated value

Do i need to change this value?

Thanks
Sky

You don't need to change it.

It's only needed for miners that don't work properly with specific diff values

The wording simply means that if you do put a value in there, and it is too low, it will be ignored and the pool will choose an appropriate value that will give you about 18 shares a minute.
The default of '0' also does that.

Too close...

Checking my miners this morning I found one with a best share of 54,411,745,457 on Kano.  That would have been a block find prior to the September 4 diff increase!

Finally bloke that one - still under 250% Diff
I threw in a pool restart jast after the block since there's been a few updates to ckpool in the last few weeks.
Most miners should have just continued mining with a reconnect message, though some may have failed over.
