Congrats again to the block solvers! And thank you!

I know we have many people who have signed up lately and I am enjoying the inrush of hashrate of course, but also fresh discussions, and new feature requests. Most people have their ideal information being displayed in particular ways.

Kano is at it constantly as well. Like a guy I know whenever I go to his house on the weekend, it doesn't matter if it is 4: AM or 4: PM he is out back in his garage / man cave with speed metal or rap playing loudly and his head under the hood of his latest project or he is all the way underneath the car heh. I think he lives in that garage. He, like Kano, seems to also have an endless amount of things he is passionate about doing, and lucky for all of us Kano (and CK as well!) turn out solid performing software. There aren't many times I've seen them go live on Kano.is and immediately roll back because of something found but I attribute such to experience and brilliant coding with a streak of simplistic engineering.

Of course keeping things simple while satisfying all of us can be a challenge in its own right, and I know Kano and CK like to give everyone what they want. Many times they satisfy many different requests from people with a single simple addition which we may all use a few different ways but I'll stop my blabbering about it and just say I know they run a healthy to do list, and will take into consideration any data people wish to see.

However they also have a very nice API where you can grab many different things, and while it is always the CK-Kano prerogative regarding what to add next I only wanted to mention there is a lot to be said for a streamlined model without a lot of fluff we really do not actually need.

Now, don't anyone take me as being negative, and I am not picking out anyone particular at all, I love some of the recent requests I've read and think they will be good additions, but all I wanted to do is throw out the fact that the pool is fast because of the way these guys write code. In my opinion I enjoy getting the data myself via the API and having it thrown in a spreadsheet so I can do all sorts of things playing with numbers.

You all probably already know the API is in no way going to give us everything everyone wants, but if you are interested in playing with it, it really isn't that hard. If you've never done it just google some, look at Zach Monroe's project and give it a shot. It is fun to me. Feel free to PM me as well, and I started by bugging CK over the cgminer API, and he answered my question and pointed me to the text file where it is all right there in very easy to understand language. If you haven't checked out Zach's hard work, you should!

Keep hitting those blocks. Maybe we can meet in Vegas for a party this time next year since this pool is going to still be rocking hard even after the halving.
As long as we are running some efficient gear I have no doubt these guys are going to keep bringing on the software to handle the rest.
I know a good poker player who is mining here again Smiley

Have a good evening, or morning, or whatever it is wherever you are  Grin

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function.
Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

Had a good think about the reject stats.
Then realised that it may not be stales.
Anyway, the web data for the workers page has the reject stats broken down into categories, I just don't display them.
I'll update that page later to show more reject info.

P.S. if you're in vegas visit the main pool server Cheesy
though I doubt they'd let anyone in at all Smiley

Running with the latest bitmain firmware Dec 11.
Seems to be pretty tight when using Kano.
Miners were getting pretty unstable on "other" pools.
Kano...  For your miner's health.
I smell a block...
Hope one of my S3 museum pieces find a block.

For those about to block we salute you! AC->BTC

I have a S7 batch 7, haven't noticed any real issues.   Can you elaborate on what you were experiencing.   Kind of hate to upgrade, but it does seem to take longer to get up to speed than my S5s.

I noticed that too. My S7's all ran 105% stable and faster hash speed than ANY other pool. Also, on MiningRigRentals, they all kept shutting down blades and were horrible. Dunno WTH they are doing over there too.

There's no S7 version (probably ever gonna appear) from me.
Bitmain said they'd send me one (I didn't ask for it, they just said they would ...) but they never did.
That was quite a while ago. I guess they didn't like the idea that I might actually make some BTC out of it rather that doing work for them for the equivalent of slave wages. With this up coming diff rise I'd be just as likely to say send it back if an S7 ever arrived and I had to pay any import cost on it Tongue

Meanwhile Smiley My 2 Avalon A6s are powering along.
Rather impressed with this weekend's A6 run that's almost over, with a current best share of 1,269,312,571 Smiley
