Looks like a 3.2% increase in difficulty is about to hit. That puts it around 1.93 trillion.

Estimated time as per Kano is, "sometime this year". Kano HAS been very clear and open about this. All it takes is a little bit of research. There are thousands upon thousands of posts in this thread.
Kano.is very clear here in this Forum with that problem on payments. But not on their own Website. I do not think that People want to research too much time. And this year has just begun... "sometime this year" is not very clear in my opinion. Im disappointed. "Dust payments are not automatically sent out" sounds like Bitcoins can be payed out, but not automatically . Thats what made me confuse.

That is a little harsh. This thread isn't exactly easy to search and find things in, and the text on the site isn't all that clear.

It's a fair point. One that has come up more than once. However, to put things into perspective, 0.0001 BTC is worth $1.36. The reason dust payments aren't sent is because it costs more to send them than the value of the transaction. Or, if sent without a transaction fee, there's a good chance you'll never get them. M

I wont reset 2FA for anyone since that gets around the point of having 2FA. As it said when you setup 2FA, you need to record the secret key somewhere, since that's what you need to setup 2FA again, if you lose your 2FA device or wipe it out. The rest of the settings are the same for everyone, SHA256 and 30 seconds. You can get a new secret key by replacing your 2FA with a new key on the 2FA web page

So I ordered a pair of S9's a couple months ago, due to be delivered late Jan.

IF you were waiting for 2 months for a S9 to be delivered, you may want to contact the person. Was it through bitmain directly? I ordered 4 from end of Nov to about Dec 10, and they were supposed to be Jan 21 - 30 delivery, but I got them early. Dec 27 Actually.

Actually I think there was some strangeness about that - coz there's one person saying that their Dec ones are late, but oddly a lot saying the Jan ones are early, in the S9 thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1493601.msg27213449#msg27213449

Am I missing anything in my quick analysis of diff going up every two weeks?
Assume 3% (conservative, I hope) every 2 weeks, that is 216% a year. As long as the price of BTC goes up by 216% in 12 months from now, and I don’t add any hashrate to my current rig, my monthly income should stay constant?

Diff jumps up (and down) somewhat more randomly lately than in the past. The main reason being the miners switching between CoreCoin and BCH It usually goes up and rarely goes down. The exact number is every 2016 blocks - which is (exactly) 2 weeks IF the block average was 10 minutes. I take a guestimate of around 4% per diff change, but you can check history to see what it really is, and it is often a LOT higher. The previous 3 diff changes were: workinfo_add(): DIFF CHANGE: hi=495936 delta=-1.28% new=1347001430558.6 prev=1364422081125.1 workinfo_add(): DIFF CHANGE: hi=497952 delta=18.11% new=1590896927258.1 prev=1347001430558.6 workinfo_add(): DIFF CHANGE: hi=499968 delta=17.74% new=1873105475221.6 prev=1590896927258.1

Yes, your reasoning is right. With rough calcs: Number of periods per 365 days 365/14 = 26.07 difficult adjustments. Say 27 as with +3% the 2016 blocks per adjustment is reached before 14 days. (1+0.03)^27 - 1 = 122% per year Average growth rate over periods back from 01 Jan 2018 4.9605% Growth over 52 periods 6.3150% Growth over 25 periods 6.7718% Growth over 20 periods 6.8812% Growth over 15 periods 8.0766% Growth over 10 periods 5.8569% Growth over 5 periods Note:Still to updated with December where difficulty increases were ~14%... so lets guess 6% average per 2016blocks/14days (1+0.06)^27 - 1 = 382% per year Update: +6.32% over last 25 diff. periods I've looked at the numbers and with the current cost of $2830 for S9 13.5Th/s one will break even after 1 year with figures below Base Electricity rate: 0.135 $/kWh (incTax) Costs : $130.53 /month/miner Power: 1.375kWh/miner . 5.7Amp Base date and diff. 01-Feb-18 2 078 871 567 453 Difficulty rate: +6.00% /14 days Block reward : 12.5 BTC Price base :$11 000 Price growth: 2.00%/14 days Edit: To many caveats and disclaimers to list

First block of 2017 was 446033 with diff 317688400354.03 Now the diff is 1931136454487.7 so ... over the past year it's increased by a bit over 500% (or it's now a bit over 600% of what it was a year ago) BTC price seems to be approx $760 a year ago
