Man, I really do love the 5ND. 2 of my S9s and all 3 of my avalons lost power for about an hour last night, but it didn't really impact my ramp up status.

Mine on, let's get some of those 2018 blocks!

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Is there something going on with the workers tab on Kano.is. All my machines were showing 0.0 hash rate except one. They were all on and working and internet was solid. Rebooted them all. All are now showing back up on the site but low hashrates. The app shows correct hashrates. What could have been the issue if not the site. Never happened before.

Also, I saw someone here say that they were using awesome miner for their monitoring software. I take it now that this may be something that I need to invest in. Not trying to turn this into a promo thread but what is the general consensus for a well-accepted mining monitoring software platform? I might add that I use Apple products almost exclusively. I do have a few PCs for various reasons which are obvious to those Mac users out there. I see that Awesome miner has a cloud service that you can add in addition to the software package. Interested to hear your thoughts.

I was curios to know the amount of data 1 S9 used.. So I looked on the stats on my switch.  This was for 1 full week of 24/7 mining ( I think there was a power cycle but nothing major)

This is on the Switch port for 1 S9

   Bytes Transmitted: 508 638 552   Downloaded
Packets Transmitted: 6328715

   Bytes Received: 1 278 968 648      Uploaded
Packets Received: 5944259

Was looking to see if I can use a cellular backup in case internet connection goes down.

Those numbers above were for a full 7 days.

I have a cellular modem on backup - data usage seems fine for more than a few miners Smiley

BLOCK DANCE TIME!

Indeed, sir. Indeed.

Did you catch it right when a block was found by the network?  For that first minute, you can get all sorts of bad data from the miners...after about a minute or so, things settle back to normal ranges.

No. Last share was about 37 minutes when I found it on all the machines except one.

When connecting my miner I use stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333, does this route me to my closest node?

I do not see a list of nodes to point my miners, I live in the north east US, thanks

try the NYA node, that should be closer to you.  stratum is west coast.

There's been a lot of network trouble with the JP node for the last 45 minutes.
The provider said they were doing maintenance on the network with only brief disconnects, but that seems to have turned into lots of problems for the few users who mine on that node.
Hopefully you have a backup node if you are one of those users on the JP node.

I am currently using the NYA as number 1 and the stratum as number 2.

Seems JP is finally OK again now.

Quick question: I am leaving Coinbase and changed my payout address, however since the payment for 501835 and 501739 are pending will they get updated to the new address or will they still go to coinbase?

The transactions are already sent, just not confirmed.

That means when they are confirmed, they will go to the address on file when the transactions were sent.

Hmm well ... that's a little unexpected ... anyone know who happens to have a spare 500THs laying around and pointed it at my Kano account?
It's actually from nicehash in texas and it's been going for a few hours ...
As mentioned before, I'm not keen on rentals at all, so I'm wondering what this is ...

Why would anyone use nicehash at this pool or rent 500th then point it here makes no sense at all.

Kano did say he was trying to get higher in the rankings.  I guess someone decided to help him?
