Just added another 841 to the pool. I gotta say, they are a very nice piece of equipment!!! I'm slowly, but surely adding to my hobby farm. I hope Canaan drops the price again, so i can score a couple more!!!

Dont get me wrong, i dont need a daily payout, as im mining for mid to long term anyway, but i DO want the highest profit that is possible with my equipment. All things said; it makes or breaks if it is wise to buy more miners or not, and i would like to know it as fast as possible... Doesnt sound strange i guess..?
That's not strange at all. With Nicehash, you're starting off at a 30% loss because of the fees they take out. Their prices are a little over to what the miner would make otherwise not renting to them, and they take 30% from that. So you're effectively mining at a pool with 30% fees, but its truly pay per share, and you don't have to find blocks. With a real pool, you only get paid when we find a block. The hash rate of the pool and your miner equal your expected rewards over a long sample. Every pool has the same expected payout there. The only thing you can do, then, is focus on the pool with the lowest fee that has the highest block find rate based on your tolerance. Kano is that pool for me - at almost a block a day, I get steady income between the difficulty adjustments. Other pools with no fees would get me a higher per block reward, but fewer blocks, due to their low overall hash rate.

It's been a long time since we had back to back blocks. Sure would be nice to get this 26 minute network block.
Edit: Damn someone else hit it right when I posted this. Maybe next time...

Block by bluelagoon! This is our 1st of BLOCK MONDAY! And again, the reward generation will be delayed - but a lot less delay this time. I ran the shift generation on the backup server (already completed while I was asleep) and just need to do the comparison to work out if I need to fix any shifts or not. That won't take too long, but I'll post again when I've worked out if the shifts during the last double-restart are OK and when the reward will show.

I signed up at the start of March with 2 of my S9 units. Once ramped up I hit over .0043 payout for one block, but it has since gone down every single payout, and now the block just solved is only .0027. I know I should be more concerned with overall long game, but I believe my machines on Slush were making more? Is it just because the pool has has nearly doubled since I joined, that my payouts have been basically halved?

It's exactly because the pool hash rate has more than doubled. But more blocks should help cancel that out.

If you signed up at the start of march, you'd have stats for 14 more blocks, since we had 20 that month. Your comment about Flush poool is a statement with a question mark. Odd. I suggest if you have correct data from there, compare the information. The Hashrate here is going up, so yes, your numbers will go down a bit. However, the higher the hashrate, the more frequently we get rewarded. Personally, in March, with my then 23.6 avg th/s, I did great!!!

If we can keep up and even improve upon the frequency of blocks as March I think I'd be very happy.

Maybe it has been discussed, but has the payouts page been taken away? Is there a decent reason?

I know I should be more concerned with overall long game, but I believe my machines on Slush were making more? Is it just because the pool has has nearly doubled since I joined, that my payouts have been basically halved?

If you signed up at the start of march, you'd have stats for 14 more blocks, since we had 20 that month. Your comment about Flush poool is a statement with a question mark. Odd. I suggest if you have correct data from there, compare the information. The Hashrate here is going up, so yes, your numbers will go down a bit. However, the higher the hashrate, the more frequently we get rewarded. Personally, in March, with my then 23.6 avg th/s, I did great!!! I only copied and pasted starting at my highest payout to try and keep the actual size of my quote to a minimum. If we can keep up and even improve upon the frequency of blocks as March I think I'd be very happy. The Red numbers should make it clear why your reward per block is going down. But of course the expected number of blocks is going up. The Blue numbers are only accurate to 2 decimal places - the value is simply "Your N Avg" / "Pool N Avg" which is also "Your Hash Rate"/"Pool Hash Rate" The easiest example to explain is to compare a pool hash rate of 50PHs vs 100PHs and a miner hash rate of 1PHs You'd expect 100PHs to find two times the number of blocks vs 50PHs, and the miner would be 1% of the pool so get 1% of the rewards. However with 50PHs the miner would be 2% of the pool and get 2% of the rewards, but the pool is only expected to find half as many blocks. So in both cases the expected reward would be the same.

Oh, I also forgot to point out, I removed the Payments page. It's just a copy of data from the Rewards page and has never shown any extra useful information other than your address, which you should know , but it does show payouts that didn't get sent due to dust. When I complete the accounting code, the new Payments page will shows each actual Bitcoin payout, from the blockchain, that you've received and the transaction it is in, so it will match what your wallet says you got - and thus that also is how I will have a correct balance for each account and be able to make non-block based payouts for smaller miners, and do a bunch of large payouts to clean up everyone's unpaid balance. Here you go And as I mentioned to someone who asked about it in PM ... The new page will, as before, show the payment address it was sent to, but also the transaction in bitcoin. It gets that data once off from the bitcoin blockchain, not generated by the pool - so we both know it's correct.
The reason I removed the Payments page was coz for long term miners it's causing a too long write lock in my KDB code and with more miners on the pool that's causing problems. It only shows the address the payout was sent to (nothing else unknown) so for most miners they know what that is, and should be OK with this until I get the new changes done. For anyone else who changes their address, well, the Rewards page will still match your wallet, excluding if anyone didn't have a payout address, so matching up the rewards with the wallet shouldn't be too hard for a short while until I get that changes finished.

I signed up at the start of March with 2 of my S9 units. Once ramped up I hit over .0043 payout for one block, but it has since gone down every single payout, and now the block just solved is only .0027. I know I should be more concerned with overall long game, but I believe my machines on Slush were making more? Is it just because the pool has has nearly doubled since I joined, that my payouts have been basically halved? ...
Take a look at the coins per day calculations on https://www.minergain.com/ and you will see that Kano was way ahead of that other pool for the month and the quarter. If you were here since the beginning of March then you made way more here than back there. If you didn't have all of your machines here then you clearly missed out on some fat payouts.
