Meanwhile, yet again, another completely unnecessary EMPTY block from that piece of crap slush pool:
Block 541915 found by slush was an EMPTY block 274 total bytes.
i'm not an expert on this matter, but i don't understand why bitcoin network accepts empty blocks if there are unconfirmed transactions in the mempool? ps. not only Slush, but other top-5 pools also produce empty blocks (btc.top) Well different bitcoinds will have different contents in their mempool. Also while it's very rare, the mempool does get empty on very rare occasions. This type of thing falls under what I like to call doing the right thing by Bitcoin. A system that tries to enforce such rules is not really ideal at all. A system that you gain by following what's good for the system, that's ideal. In this case, if you produce empty blocks, you reduce your reward. Obviously people mining on slush have no idea what they are doing and blindly point their miners there. This was all brought up a few years back and some people moved off the large pools onto pools that didn't purposely produce empty blocks. Though most pools do produce them, even certain small pools, due to claiming they are necessary, but that was proven wrong by other pools including us, that don't follow the practice of producing empty work to produce empty blocks at every network block change. This thread also popped up during the discussions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1085800.0But I guess not many miners these days know or care much about Bitcoin of even realise they're losing out a little bit because of it. Ignorance is bliss.

Check your shift listing, folks, and bask in the glory of shares getting paid 11 times!! I believe the best I've ever seen was 12 or 14... (April last year?) So... I'm guessing there's not a PPS pool out there that would pay me 220% for my miner's work between 9/12 & 9/14 or even ~200% between 9/12 & 9/15.

Actually - I should really add that over the past year the pool has run very much as expected. Last October was a nightmare due to having the two highest diff blocks of all time at the end of October - but since then the stats have been good. Even the bad luck in February was pretty much immediately resolved by the good luck in March (2 month total 25 Blocks, expected 25.29 Blocks) We don't expect luck to be above or below 100% - but long term to be 100% So far since, and including, November last year it has totalled a bit over 100% - so all good (Expected 185.16 Blocks Found 188 Blocks)

Hey think buddy, I have only 1,2 Th/s. If I'm was you I don't overclock expensive machines 24 Th/s is a lot of power on one unit, ASIC!
