Hey Guys!  I just joined the mining scene and joined your pool, I have 5 S9's with more on the way.  While I'm waiting for my 220V circuits to be setup I have 1 S9 pointed here on a 110V.  My question is, when are payouts paid? I was connected during the last 2 found blocks and my payout on the first was a miniscule 0.00006859 and the second 0.0002497, I know this is very small but just curious how it works.
Right now it takes about a week (~200 hours) of mining to ramp up to full payouts--don't worry, you lose nothing; it's just the way PPLNS works.

Kano had a good explanation in a recent post where he said something to this effect: If you've mined 20 of the past 200 hours, your payout will be 10% of your fully ramped up reward. Obviously, 100/200=50% reward, etc.

Basically, just keep mining here for a week, and by then you'll be up to full payouts, fall in love with us charming folks, and not want to mine anywhere else... That's what happened to all of us. Grin

Thanks,

Yeah, I have the plan to buy some example 3000 dollars 29Th+ PSU ASIC x 3. If i get money somewhere. That is the first thing what I'm gonna do in this situation.
200 Ph/s ASIC hall can be a later goal.

Received the payout in my wallet this morning, thank you for the feedback.  Looking forward to continued mining on Kano.
The payouts are so trustworthy here that I barely give a thought to when they actually hit my wallet. I have a crypto app on my Microsoft phone--don't laugh, it hurts bad enough already--that I add my Kano block rewards to so I can see real-time market values, trends, etc.

It's only every now and then I log into my dedicated Lubuntu+Bitcoin Core laptop or blockchain.info to check my balance--more to make sure I've added everything to that app than making sure Kano sent my payouts.

P.S. - Balances match. Cool

In case anyone noticed and wondered what changed Smiley

The stratum.kano.is node is 3 servers
I changed one of the 3 over from AWSLS to another provider a bit over an hour ago.

No one needs to do any changes to their miners.
No miners are disconnected by the change, simply new miners connecting to stratum.kano.is will no longer connect to the old one.

Since it is one of 3, anyone connecting to stratum.kano.is will of course have a 1 in 3 chance of connecting to the new node.
The new node is in LosAngeles, whereas the others are in Oregon.
They're 30ms apart but that's OK for this 'trial' run.
This is to see how well it performs and if all goes as planned I'll probably do some more changing around of stratum.kano.is in a few weeks.

Mine on!

Yep great - even small miners can find a block - well done lieutfunaki Smiley

Of course every block found is a single miner, but some people just happen to have a whole lot of those single miners Cheesy

FYI that was a 7 second network block and blocks haven't been very full for the last 8 hours - so it was a pretty small one
... but NOT empty!

great that we found a block.

Pitty is that i added 2 more miners, and my 5N is halfway now, increased with 10+Th already, and payout is less then previous block, while my percentage is equal...

Most is understandable, but its highly annoing to see... Sad  Its lake a race you know you can't win...  Roll Eyes

If your percentage is exactly equal... all that means is that the block didn't have much in the way of transaction fees associated with it.  I believe that is what Kano was referring to when he said it was a 7 second block... it was found 7 seconds after the previous block on the Bitcoin blockchain, so not many transactions had accumulated in the mempool.

Also, there was a small diff increase recently as well as a jump in pool hashrate. The latter spreads out the reward across more miners, BUT that means were likely to find blocks more often than at the lower hashrate... Cool

Like you said, "most is understandable". Wink

Yer quite welcome. My block#7 was found by the R4 office heater Tongue

I might add that of 3 R4's , that is the only one fully working. My 1st gimpy 1 that lost a card donated its controller to R4 #2 whose board died last August. That recipient seems to have had rejections issues as now it has lost a hash board as well so now Gimpy-1 now will give up it's last working board to Gimpy-2...

As some of you know, I've been tracking invalid rates with my Avalons.  They were about double my S9s when I was running (5) per string (20 per controller).  That came back on the high end of normal when I reduced it to (3) per string.  I'm happy to report that (4) per string runs just as well as (3).  Apparently only (5) causes the problem.

This really helps spread out the cost of controllers and AUC3s, reducing their overhead substantially.
