OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Hello Breakout Community.  We are proposing the following changes for your consideration.

A.  Elimination of the PoW stage and the 7 million coins that would cause dilution of the market over a two yr period.
B.  Bergstake to begin from day one, allowing Bergstake owners ability to earn block rewards from day one.
C.  Increasing the pool of BRO coins in the "coin sale" from 5.5 million to 10 million.
D.  Approx 700 btc goal for initial phase
E.  If the total amount of btc raised falls short of the proposed 700 btc amount, we will raise the remaining amount through a "private" sale.
F.  Once the 700 btc criteria is met, the "coin sale" will end.
G. Remaining coins will be sold at a later date to be announced by Breakout Coin on this forum.
H. Pro-rata bonuses will be eliminated and be replaced with fixed pricing.
I.  Current participants will receive a 110% bonus in BRO coins over their counterparts.  @6600 BRO per btc
J.  The @6600 BRO coin sale period will end tonight at 10/28/2014 midnight PST
K.  After the 48 midnight, BRO @6000 BRO per btc for a 7 day period.
L.  Thereafter, the @BRO amount will decrease by @500 BRO every two days until @3000.
M.  @BRO will then stay at @3000 per btc until the end of "coin sale" period.
N.  The tentative price for BRO will be @1000 BRO per btc when the "coin sale" continues.
O.  Bergstake period; 1 million new coins created annually instead of 2 million.
P.  Refund tool will be made for all initial participants who choose to request a refund.

The target was discussed a few pages back. Basically the coin is launching regardless of the target. I think it was something like 1000 BTC but I'm not positive. Scan back a few pages if you like to get the specifics but the coin is a go either way.

As far as exactly how to redeem you're better off waiting until the Q & A in a bit. There are a few different ways it could work, probably better served to let them explain.

Hopefully, we will be able to test within a month.  Games will be rolled out on a regular schedule for testing.  We want to make sure our product lineup matches or exceeds anything out there yet in the "fiat" and crypto igaming universe. There has already been significant amount of time and capital invested into development of software and we feel the crypto and BRO community will be proud to claim one of the best igaming sites as their own.

Yes, a MUCH longer period than that. At least 7 days (many people is paid at the end of the month).

And after this re-structuring I don't have clear at all what the amount of total coins will be. Lets try to figure it out with one scenario by which the 1000 BTC is reached within the first 7 days. That means 6 million coins and software fully funded. Then what? Lets also assume that the other 4 million coins are also sold. What is left? 2.5 million for developers, etc.? and 7 million for promotions, bounties, etc. Total 19.5 million plus 1 million more for bergstake, 20.5 million by the end of the first year. That's just 10% of the total coins... which will be owned by Breakout Gaming? Am I getting this correctly?

The plan doesn't actually do that. They should have added a small bonus for people who have already invested, like 5% or 10% (6600 or 6300 PRO/BTC).

Also, having some coins left over for "Remaining coins will be sold at the public release of beta software", is going to encourage a wait and see investment strategy after the first round of speculators jump on the 100% bonus.
