If you are in the US, call your local FBI office (easy to obtain at http://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field) they are very friendly and cordial. Also file with the www.ic3.gov they are the FBI's internet crimes division. I also encourage you to file with Action Fraud in the UK even if you are outside of the UK. Their filling process allows for complaints outside the UK in a very straight forward way. Unless this clown and all of the co-conspirators, that even includes Mr. Jason Yates who benefited from the overall transaction. If they do not make good on the BTCs taken there is no much they can do. Well, I guess they can be on the run for the rest of their lives and never return to see any of their family members, that is an option. -Andre

Bullshit. And more bullshit. I'm a positive person, always looking at people's best side. But all this mess is a shame, and they deserve long jail time. I don't believe a word, it's lie over lie, false promise. He's buying time, hopefully it's too late for this rat.
This (those) criminal is destroying so much hope on what should be a game changer in this world. All you criminals are spitting on something great. It's like destroying your own house - and I hope you will pay for it, and pay hard.
PS: Sorry for this aggressive message, can't stand to see honest and hard working people getting raped that hard.

Totally agree with you, i hope those involved in this scam will get caught. I hope those that lost BTC and other coins will be able to get back, at least, a part of what they lost if they can't get all back Staying positive is a good thing, but some times it can't be done. This situation is a good example.

Thank you. I voted for Ryan. I did as well. Would much rather be giving a thumbs down in a gladiatorial arena type environment, but labeling this bastard publicly is good none the less.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

FINALLY FFS. After XMR drops 40% Sounds like a diversionary and/or stalling scheme to me Sounds like more bullshit, but let's hope is not. In the meantime there is always god to pray right? Well, there is an expression to "prepare for the worst and hope for the best," and in that regard, there is NOT a real problem hoping for the best, so long as you are also prepared for the worst.
|
1) Self-Custody is a right. There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted." 2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized. 3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

I am. I don't plan on going away anytime soon and I had 1.60ish BTC taken from me. I'm sure the guys who have more taken from them feel the same way.

At last count (back in August, left some stupid buy/sells when values dropped & left my trading coins there):
BTC: 0.6 VTC: 217 BC: 1500.5 SUPER: 130 DOGE: 3500
I've written the value off - as most of it was from trading anyway. Would be nice to get 0.5 BTC back (as that's how much I initially 'invested') but doubt I will!
Some guidance how to contact mintpal to withdraw funds would be useful in the first post (I've not trawled through here yet).

As for now noone is getting his BTC back, he refunded some altcoins and stole the rest. They are pressuring him to give it back, even law enforcement is at it. If you want to request withdrawal then go to mintpal, log in, type in addresses for withdrawal and hope for the best. If you are not logged since V1 you will have to change your password and then log in.

Yeah, you were very enlightened to start such a novel and creative thread.... and also, your thread appears to only be about bitcoin, and NOT about crypto, generally. Accordingly, you appear to be just trolling by NOT having any substantive discussion, but instead enticing other people to respond to you vague and weakly substantiated allegations.

Hmm I wonder if anyone involved with the legal process is verifying any of Moolah's charity initiatives. I have none underway but I would imagine looking at past donation initiatives would uncover some fund facts as well =)
