BTW the SP miner is still getting 10% less hash rate compared to DJM's original release. The power fluctuates a lot on the SP version compared to the DJM version.

Wich card models? Wich operating system? I get 5-10% more hash on my rigs...

970s. I tried it on w8 x64 and w10 x64. Both seem to do it. It settles at about 10% less. Looking at the GPU usage, there are a lot of drop offs, where DJMs is pretty solid.

It appears that Give-Me-Coins is still using the weird difficulty amount for VTC. Is it possible to build in a auto-sense that will change the parameter based on the errors you get when connected? GMC is basically keeping people from mining on their pool and using rig rental sites at the same time.

in the miner config file. This worked for me across four different routers I have inline.
All my main stuff is out in the shop "out back of the house" but I have also mined from
3 or 4 laptops inside my house while rigs mined in the shop. I have 3 wireless routers 1 main router plus cable modem.

thats quite interesting ...

so the last two address points can work with it - but not a wildcard 'just' on the last one ...

have you tried this with granite thewolf - or with other coins? ...

Its worked with the few I've tested and found block in phoenixcoin being one of those.
This is how my phoenixcoin.conf looks. Most of the time I use the same .conf for other wallets
and edit it with changes to match the coin wallet and coin .conf name I'm working at the time.
No not with Granite yet, but I could test to find out and will let you know if someone doesn't try it before I can get the chance.

the hashrate is still not very large - so solomining is still viable ... diff fluctuates regularly - so blocks are still reasonably easy to come by ...

but the setup you have proves that it does work ...

the pool we have ( grn-pool.granitecoin.com ) is the main pool i use - but will be testing thefarm with solomining ...

i would like to see if the maximum connections limits the solo mining ... will test that soon ...

hashpower / yiimp / coinking and a few other private pools are in existence to mine granite - so seeing that you solomine so easily is quite a positive boost ...

I was testing r66 and it suddenly crashed "ccminer has stopped working" error. Back to testing r69 now to see if it closes again auto.
This could be limited to my setup. Has anyone else seen this while solo mining? I was mining granitecoin when it happen both times.
I didn't make note of the error code in r66, because I knew there where still some problems with solo back then.

Seems to me it's a GMC problem not a ccminer problem. The amount of effort to code in an "auto sense" mode would be vastly more than just changing the difficulty parameter in your bat file.

You can't use rig rentals with GMC the way it's setup right now.

Looks like a couple If statements to me and GMC is a really solid pool. It's not hard to see when you're operating at the wrong difficulty. You get a bunch of 'above share' messages.

maybe I did accidentally close r69 unknowingly. Found my 1st block a few seconds ago with the 960GTX.




Edit: 2nd block just in.... now that didn't take long at all. diff is down looks like.
about 14mins. between 1st & 2nd block.



diff had climbed to 7.11 then dropped back off going by what I've seen in the 760 ccminer.



The 2 blocks found so far were on the 960, 760 nothing yet.



A 3rd block just found on the 660.

Because we would first have to trust each other and second trust someone in China to not take our money and run. (Not saying that all Chinese are untrustworthy. But there are bad apples everywhere.)

i have a few people that are very trustworthy - but not the investors ... only one that i have spoken to who CAN do this - but wont ...

he works with the stockmarket and finance and and can finance this venture - but he just doesnt quite get that there is massive money to be with mining also ...

if so - ive seen this happen from time to time due to a driver crash ...

a reboot normally fixes it ... on the miners side that is ...

But I still have managed to optimize them.

I believe I can optimize the Ether miner as well, but I am waiting for stratum support and a gui wallet.

I believe the GUI wallet comes out next year. It is supposed to be well after the POW for Eth is done.

If I remember correct Eth POW is over in October sometime.
