businesses take years to grow, nothing is done overnight, especially not breeding and cultivating an medical approved cannabisstrain. This is not about the cannabis "drug", its more about cannabis as medicine. This must be done right and not fast... But why i'm telling that to impatient crypto people  Tongue Use your brains!! If you think its a scam, simply leave. We will see in a few years how this plays out.

I agree with your comment, i really have my hope on CannabisCoin, the more acceptance we gave to the coin the more value will have, here in my country are plans to regulate Marihuana for medical use and recreative nationwide, so im planning to promote the CannabisCoin between all cannabis users and future dispensers, so keep on the faith strong with the CANN, im from Mexico and sorry for my bad english, thanks. What's going on with CANN these days?
I can remember all the hype surrounding CANN back in the day.
Guess it did not live up to it since I havent heard much about it after that.

Don't count CANN out quite yet Wink Cryptocoin development takes alot of time and effort. Especially when your also designing a new strain of cannabis on top of everything. Smiley
I'm still holding quite a few personally, bought at many different prices.

Not good news from Ireland:

Quote
'Completely sober' drivers who smoked cannabis in last week could be prosecuted under new laws - Cannabis users who have not taken the drug for a week or more could be prosecuted under proposed new drug-driving legislation, the Transport Minister said today.

At the moment, motorists who use drugs can be prosecuted only if their driving is impaired, but this new legislation would allow gardaí to test a driver's saliva on the side of the road, followed by a blood test.

paytplay, I think you should give some thought to your purpose and strategy.

You claim to want more material value in CannabisCoin while making surly, denigrating posts, apparently attempting to drive its value down.

The situation is that introducing the coin to new users requires wallets which can be installed and used in a matter of a couple of minutes rather than hours to days, as is the current case with a block chain of more than 1.1 million blocks. These must be both backward compatible and forward extensible and will not go out to testers until some time after the holidays. Those are simply facts and no amount of foot stamping or teeth gnashing will change them.

You might also note that responding to churlish posts distracts us from productive effort.

Security News Alert

Everyone who keeps their wallets on Linux machines please note the recently discovered Grub2 Bootloader bug.

Although this bug does allow security to be bypassed it affects only situations where keyboard access is available. We would not ordinarily highlight any issue fixed with a simple update but respond here because Bitcoinist has decided to trumpet this item.

We recommend everyone apply all security patches at their earliest convenience.

Ubuntu, Debian and Red Hat patch information.

So is it possible to convert this coin into real, physical Cannabis?

Yes possible and it has been done.  We are still working with legalities, tracking, and processes.

We will remain methodical in our movements due to federal and local laws.

Oh, that's great!

How can I do that? Is there a site to do so on?

Is there any fees?

CANN  380 Sat......
The time of maximum pessimism is the best time to buy

i'm out of cann sorry can't take this anymore.

if they get listed on more exchanges, 1ex.trade , polo if they aren't already or show something better in the works (plus the manipulation stops happening) then i'll maybe buy back in (not that any of you care).

not to mention it's gonna be a super uphill battle vs everyone dumping their coins for SOME sorta profits over the next while for this coin.

There seems to be something wrong with checkpoints.cpp in the source code which was updated a few days ago.

I was getting this error:

Code:
