Its not useless, its actually uncovered quite a few new, previously unknown prime chains. Plus, its actually still profitable to mine!

I extracted this coin about 2 years ago, and then the pool was closed, and the miner has not been updated, the price went to fade

not my fault  if you dont realise this is actually the most profitable coin for amd miners. especially if you have an old farm of 7xxx radeon... but also is most profitable for rx series

R9 390x more than 15CPD, r9 nano/fury x don't know

If ADL is working with your drivers, try 20.

Any idea to optimize the miner for rx480? I only get ~10 cpd.

Polaris too slow in XPM mining.. using GCN assembly can give about +5-10% on this GPUs, but it's not easy.

I had been mining Primecoin for a while up until I lost the space for my rigs about a year ago.   I now have a place that I can set them up again.   
I currently use r9-270s (4 cpd) and 280s(6 cpd)   
Anyway, I have two questions.   What are the preferred GPUs for Primecoin mining now, and is there any reason to use coinsforall over xpmforall?

Preferred GPUs is Hawaii - R9 290(X)/390(X). Other GPUs also can be profitable on XPM rather than ETH and others, need use calculator to check them.
If you use coinsforall you can set payment threshold, do manual payments.. and no any lags on website.

xpmforall (coinsforall too) XPM payments work properly last 2 years.. unlike zec pool on startup
Sometimes pool can delay payment up to 4-5 hours, not more.
