I am a complete noob when it comes to linux, and have ubuntu 16.04 installed

when i try to run ./miner i get
"error: 100
failed with error CUDA_ERROR_NO_DEVICE at /home/user/build/xpmclient/src/xpm/cuda/xpmclient.cpp:825"

I have no idea what to do

No, network cpd is too high. It should be around 1500cpd for target 10.

Hi guys. I have RX 580 8gb jn Windows 10(etherium drivers beta) 10.2.2 crshes on start. I try to use 9.4.1 miner with taiti .bin file & i have onle 0.4 CPD for 1*rx 580.
Please help me to cinfigure right speed.

PS - I can pay for help if it helps.

Clean your mining folder, erase your gpu .bin file and try again. (Sometimes after creating new bin file miner closes randomly but you can just re-start it).
0.4 cpd is pretty much max that you can get from that gpu.

3. Deploy script added, everybody can build xpmclient binaries using docker (look contrib directory https://github.com/eXtremal-ik7/xpmclient/tree/version/zcash/contrib)
4. Protocol changed.
Previous versions of xpmclient receives signal on every new block incoming, ask pool about work and receive answer from pool (Three ZeroMQ messages). New version protocol include work into "signal" message. For connect to old servers, use -c argument:

xpmclient -c

5. Some minor bug fixed
6. Logging added (see file miner-YYYY-MM-DD.log in miner directory)
