a way to send a message to payb.tc if the forum is down.
THIS PLEASE! Yes, this is also the only thing I'm missing. An email address should be sufficient as well the possibility to save the own email address in your account. This +1. It's possible I may have mentioned that this is a good idea as well.

I've saved the address - ty, but for those that don't then to have it on the site would be good (which I expect you were about to add in any case)

Another idea would be a "contact us" button at bitcoinmax.com (next to the forum link?)

Another idea would be a "contact us" button at bitcoinmax.com (next to the forum link?) the thing i'm a little afraid of there is that, at the moment only forum members can contact me. if i open it up to non-forum members contacting me, i'll have to have all my scripts in place and as much automated as possible so that i can create accounts / do withdrawals with 1 click, etc.

Ok, give a "contact us" link AFTER the user logs in. This will only be a problem for the people who lost their password until the forum is back up. This might be just a little more secure when requesting withdraws as well.

That'll be prone to security leaks - look at what happened to Bitcoinica and MT.Gox last time.

You dont have to put contact us link, maybe with the account opening you can send a private email address link to the specific withdraw address, idk im just brainstorming here xD

Having another layer of security (pin login) after logging in would be great. Or maybe just use a pin when withdrawals are performed.
yeah i would be all for automated withdrawls, just another layer of security as mentioned here would be nice.

the current to-do list in order of priority:
- force redirect to https done - withdrawal request form in login area - new account sign up form - contact form in login area - detection of new (and unconfirmed) deposits without re-logging in.
anything else?
Sub Accounts. So we can do a pass through from you =p

They could also be completely oblivious of Bitcoinmax, BS&T and Pirate pass-troughs. Someone with a bitcoinmax account could take advantage of that by offering them a "bitcoin savings account" with a fantastic 5% monthly interest rate.

Google Authenticator is free and pretty easy to Integrate. The one thing I would note is to not display the pairing info after say 24 hours after they first enable it, that way an attack must compromise a users device to clone it, not just a quick access to their account.

easy : they don´t speak english want me to do the german, french or portuguese part? I'm not sure if that is a reference to my suggestion, though this can be done simply with a language switcher. To payb.tc: Since BitcoinMax offers such high interest rates, if anybody is thinking about taking the risk to invest with Pirate it would be through you. Now you are currently making 1% on all interest, if accounts continue to grow the job to send out x amount of payments could become a tedious task. So what i propose is to allow the creation of sub-accounts when accounts hold e.g. minimum 100 BTC. The owner of the account will be able to create sub accounts (which will generate their own private deposit address. I noticed you mentioned you wanted to create a signup form so i assume it will generate an address at the same time). Owner of master account will be able to set an account label and interest rate for a specific sub account. Since payments aren't automated (that's a good thing) The listed interest rate will be an easy way for the owner to see how much interest has been accrued in the week. This will eventually allow you to close deposits of smaller amounts e.g. less then 100 BTC. So you will only need to pay out to the Master Accounts. With a Master Account an API would be great too. So we will be able to set up our own portals to pull data. Now all of these ideas i guess are only really useful if you feel that the number of accounts are becoming to large. It may have been the reason why Pirate went down this route.

^^ by the way, i really appreciate all the feedback & input from everyone.
I for one appreciate your simple website and easy access by PM and on this forum. Why should we try and turn you into a JpMorgan Chase when you are functioning just fine as our friendly neighborhood single branch bank? Im sure all the proposed changes will be great, but I for one, like your service just the way it is and I intend to continue investing in it.
