may i ask..
why the interest only 1%...?
Dev

Thats what they chose its pretty standard. I might have them change it on fork.

sometimes i wonder why only 1%
why not 5-10% ?its very ideal..i think
so the people will be interested to hold their coin
how do you think?

Because I would rather peg to a dollar and grow VALUE by 5% a month than to charge interest and increase supply thus decreasing price/value.

Could you explain what you mean by grow value by 5% a month?

2 million coins dumped on Bittrex to 254 satoshi, now trading at 270 sat, might be a good entry point if price stabilize over 270 sat.

As I mentioned before...biggest holder has only 1.02% of 1 billion coins..that is 10 million coins. You will hardly see major dump with Bay because one person doesn't hold more than 25 BTC worth of coins and market will soon return to where it was before the dump. Nothing to worry about.

What would 25 or even 100 btc dump would do to a coin that has market cap of 3000 BTC?

piss in the snow.  Grin

10 sat would definitely mean a dead coin... so you are looking to buy a dead coin?  I'm pretty sure I have a few I'd be happy to let go at 10 sats... but not my BAY. Wink

If all promises get delivered on time, then you will be looking at more like a 3K sats or higher price (pre-hedging that is).  The market alone even in beta would easily command a cap of over $10M if it's being used by even a small minority of those who were using either SR2 or buying off Overstock, etc. with BTC.  You're definitely on the 'safer' road, but there's not a whole lot of returns to be had doing it that way.

Or is there some huge marketplace where everyone is spending all their alt-coins that have over a $1M market cap? (With a little 'creative rounding' all of the top 10 coins have a $10M or higher cap currently...)

I'm not really interested in discussing short term price.

BUT I suspect that the resistance around 300 sat will remain for a while. People know that many folks have bought their coins to sell them again around that point again. They just don't know how many of them are still left in that pool.

It's a bit of a game being played right now but eventually that will pass.

They're working on it. 4 days since the ICO ended..relax.  Cool. If we keep bugging them they won't be able to develop anything. Have you seen how many people are constantly asking stupid questions and keep distracting from the REAL work?

Let them do the work and once it's done we all will find out..won't we?

We can either build 3 demo wallets(windows mac linux) without any of my new Halo features such as hiding keys in a jpeg and the advanced history tab, actual vs present balance. Or you can have a UI that is half done. Its up to you guys. It would be a day of building just to build again. But I'm more than happy to release early. The real news is for markets anyways. Demo smart contracts is just the surface.

Im pegging the price so dumping will be impossible. Then we can grow the coin like a corporation. It works by controlling supply and demand and circulation.

We put a wall below supply line and then push the wall up 5% a month. We can have a sell wall or not depending on if the exchange allows it. For that we would need custodial wallet or a massive multisig with the exchange... all in one account.

Voting can be added to decentralize the decision of what the speed of circulation should be, how much the liquid coins are and what rate coins get frozen. I did an unlisted video on it for my coders. See if someone in Bitcointalk can link to the page where it got shared for full explanation.

I vote to do it right.  Take the time needed to release a good (complete) product.
