I would become very nervous if BitBay paid 5 BTC to get listed on Trex or any other exchange.

Money should only be used to develop this project.

It'll be listed on its own within few days and the way this coin is going I'm pretty sure exchanges would be begging us to list it on their site soon.  Cool

No answer to my question, so i will ask again. Any ETA for the features ?

This question has been answered numerous times through the thread.

"Lets be clear about this roadmap again:

*DEMO Smart contracting client(from BlackHalo)  --- Within a week. Trying to get it before ICO ends but not 100% sure.
*Markets(beta without advanced whitelists but with a kill switch/mod key) --- Within a month or two max. I've been working on this for Blackcoin, they coincide

The last two get worked on simultaneously with Hedging taking precedence:
*Hedging transition with the checklocktimeverify --- this is about a month... we can pull from NuBits, but we are dealing with a larger supply so that math has     to work out to manage all of everyones funds properly. If they pay my dev team I can have them work on this fork BEFORE I finish my markets which would greatly increase the speed in the fork.

*Markets with whitelists/double back on server --- one month after the main markets release. Its not a difficult implementation, its very elegant but there would also be some user interface feedback and bugs we want to respond to. This could delay one additional month so we will have to ask users to behave in our decentralized markets so we don't have to shut it down.

So give the above a total of 3 months. Realize I'm trying to underpromise and overdeliver. And you know I deliver if you read blackcoins subreddit

ONCE we are hedged, we can go for the mesh networks. We will now be capped at a billion dollars(thats my target price anyways) and be able to afford and utilize our connections to the hardware markets and we will indeed create an incentive system for setting up these networks."

Hi Everyone

Just a friendly reminder, this is a moderated thread, posts that seek only to fud, and posts with profanity will be deleted.

THCMak, concerning your question about upcoming releases, the wallet with smart contract functionality will be out soon. This will be a real step forward for both all of us and the community as a whole. So start thinking about creative smart contracts - you are just a few days from being able to build them yourself : -)  The launch of the marketplace itself is still on track for January.

Thanks.

Quoted troll posts will also be deleted. No offense meant to those that did but we said not to quote the fud or troll posts. It just keeps it going and the trolls rely on the quotes to keep their message on here. At the very least edit out the links and most of the fud/troll subject.

Please can this thread be OVER moderated and everything with a hint of FUD deleted, its tiresome I just want to read about the project and what can be done with this technology.

The fact is there is nothing wrong with an ICO which is what people seem to be against, its peoples freedom to invest in whatever they want to thats why Bitcoin exists so people can have freedom and choice. So please if someone FUD's don't respond to them just let the MODS delete them and act like they didnt post until they do. Responding to FUD is actually as bad as FUD. And the truth is FUD is 99% of the time designed to lower the price so they don't really have a legitimate criticism of the project anyway.

Stating the obvious but it needs to be implemented.

Yes, I must agree.

Please delete any post with only a hint of FUD, so that when people read this they read about the coin and its features.

We do not need another thread that is filled for 50% by FUD etc.

Thanks everyone for the support. We really do want to keep this a great place to get info and discuss BitBay related tech. It's a fine line to walk, we do not want to censor real discussion. In addition, the mods are spread over several time zones, so inevitably some fud posts temporarily get through.

Just want to give a shout out to the core community that is clearly developing here, posting a lot & helping the newcomers. You know who you are. It is so valuable what you are doing, and it makes a real difference.

This is VERY interesting! Speaking of Alipay from Alibaba, any connections here to Bitpay?

So glad the interest in smart contracts is picking up. Would be great if people start entering smart contracts for shits and giggles. Like betting on stupid challenges and whatever. It's supposed to be used for serious trading, sure, but it's got huge meme potential as well. On the short term it makes sense for people to be frivolous and experimental with it. There hasn't been a proper etiquette established around it yet.

Check out Bhalo as well.

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to outline the structure of release for the ICO funds.

- 500 btc at completion of ico / delivery of initial wallet. (This threshold has been met.)
- 500 btc at delivery of wallet with integrated smart contracts
- 500 btc at delivery of our decentralized marketplace
-  Balance of funds after 60 days of stable marketplace performance. At this time the BitBay team will also be releasing its Phase 2 road map.

All totals and additional ICO fund information can be confirmed with Bter exchange.

Thanks for all your support so far. We especially appreciate the high staking rate we have achieved already in the network, and we look forward to some exciting times in the next weeks with the new wallet & smart contracts.

Just picked up another 17,000 BAY, I cannot believe what people are selling thier coins for. Why would anyone want to let their coins go at or below what try paid at ICO? Or is this just buy/sell support to stabilize the price till the market picks up and figures out what an extraordinary potential this coin/community this is!

You know, a great way to start playing with smart contracts is betting. And we do have the NFL homestretch and playoffs coming up: -) what about an informal thread with some friendly wagers ...?

I'm not into sports but yes, excellent. I'm secretly really glad DOGE doesn't have smart contracting because they would do the most outrageous shit with it and steal everyone's thunder.
