About 37 hours left. Still considering whether to invest or not? Have you read the AMA?

You all have a lot of nice features but as someone on Twitter said today at release we're buying into a featureless LiteCoin clone.  Do you all have a timeline with dates for the various advanced features, linking with AliBaba, et. al.? Your team seems 1000% more real and sincere than most ICO coins but I think we've all been burnt by ICOs with promises that never happen.  This thread is full of correctly spelled multisyllabic words with hardly any of those silly meme pics. That in itself is a miracle.  However every single ICO ever released has crashed as far as I can determine.  You guys seemed to have some magic formula to keep the dumpers away.  Could you explain this in layman's terms?

I remember when BlackHalo was released for Blackcoin.  Impressive, and I am very confident in this new paradigm shift.

David explained the "magic formula" a couple of pages back. Can't quote it right now because btctalk doesn't work properly for me atm.

If coins get burned after dodgy business, the coin cap decreases and the price goes up, right?

Is there going to be a forum for Bitbay or will the only place to converse be in this thread/reddit/etc.?

This thread will definitely be the main channel of communication for the coming weeks and months. We are all long time forum members and understand how important a well moderated and updated thread here on Bitcoin Talk is for both excellent,, informative discussions and answering the community's questions.

In the future there will be other venues for interaction, including a dedicated forum connected to the marketplace, and a channel for long term BitBay investors to gather and communicate, especially as we move towards some of the hedging & pegging aspects that David has been explaining.

Hi Minaira

Thanks for your comment. We are also quite happy to have a relatively meme-free thread : -)

If you check back in the thread you will find a lot of information for your questions. Both the road map and some of David's posts make it pretty clear where our current priorities are and the sequencing of our next releases.

We hope also that the 'dumpers' will stay away. Of course this is not something we can control 100%. But I can tell you that the backers who are supporting this project have a multi-year time frame and fully intend to realize gains on that level. So much of the coin supply will be basically off market. This fits in nicely with some of the hedging and pegging structures that we are building into the evolution of BitBay.  For those who have not read David's posts on these functionalities, we encourage you to page back and read them - it's great information if you are considering investing before the end of the ICO tomorrow.

It has been stated a few times in this thread that coins remaining after ico if any are to be burned.  Roll Eyes
