I moved a miner back for a while to check and see if payments are normal yet.

Thanks I see the pool has found 4 blocks the last 2 days so that should help.

Just go to bottom of the dashboard page and you will find the list of blocks found and can see how many are waiting to get 100+ confirms so they can use the coins for payout.

Very cool, that makes more sense.. Well I guess I was talking about how much BTC the pool mined and was waiting to confirm so they could payout payments. The pending payments is what the pool owes. That number is not all correct as the pool has a large amount of its own miners which I would think do not get paid and its coins just stay in the pool.

If that were true, there wouldn't be page after page of complaints about missing/late payments - amongst other things...... Nice to see s0br & co being as transparent as ever with updates & explanations here.....

Nice to see s0br & co being as transparent as ever with updates & explanations here..... I guess what I meant by large amount is maybe 10-30% depending on how much he has rented at anytime. I notice when payments are not coming on a regular bases that the renting of rigs is also absent. Also when I said I felt his miners coins stayed in the pool I should have said that I would think those coins are used to make payments or for his renting of rigs. I guess what I was trying to point out was that all the coins due for payouts are not 100% due to outside miners.

Is this how it goes if the pool doesn't find a block for a long time?
I just bought a miner and this is the first pool I've tried.

It looks like my payout is behind about 0.11 at the moment. There was a long gap in payout from 1/22 to 1/29 thanks to the bad luck, then payments resumed from 1/29 to 2/1. After that they stopped again. I was shocked to find my one of my miners in the block find email from BAN this morning-- I've only been mining for 3 weeks!

It's one of the biggest downsides to a PPS pool. Unless the pool has a very significant amount of BTC held as a reserve there will be times the pool simply cannot afford to pay you because of bad luck. Nobody talks about the elephant in the room, but there it is.

I have chatted with the pool operator a few times and I believe him. Me believing him will not help him dig out of the hole of the payments after the 5 days of very bad luck and no blocks. But after finding 5 blocks in 3 days it seems the pool has caught up on payments again. I have been mining a little to check on payments as I really like a PPS pool with no fee as long as my payments come on time.

But after finding 5 blocks in 3 days it seems the pool has caught up on payments again. I have been mining a little to check on payments as I really like a PPS pool with no fee as long as my payments come on time. However, as was stated in the beginning, this is statistically expected. The pool will get a negative balance every so often due to bad luck, even when paying out 0% extra on PPS - let alone when paying 10% more ... It's statistical fact ... and 100BTC is a small amount in the given situation ... that's only 4 blocks ... a single 500% block needs more than 100BTC in reserve to payout everyone on that one block. A single rare 800% block needs more than 175BTC in reserve just to payout that one block ... Luck is a measure of the past, and just coz you find a very bad luck block, doesn't mean you can expect to EVER recover that bad luck. You may, and you may not ever. Again, as stated, that's why PPS pools charge a higher fee than other pools ... for all the PPS pools that haven't crashed and burned. If they don't, then they need to be regularly giving miners BTC out of their own pocket ... Add 26 pool servers and a large amount of mining hardware that may not be covering it's costs ... and ... well ... the rest is actually expected, not unlikely.

On your dashboard page click on the payment history link and see what it shows. The pool has had its issues, but I have never seen this happen to anybody else? You better make sure your wallet address is correct.
