Why is the site and nodes down for me?
on irc they said they are moving one of the servers from phoenix arizona to the new 10g fiber connection at the las vegas datacenter and that the site/nodes would be offline for a short time till they get the one server back up and running somone posted that once the server was picked up in phoenix it was about a 5 hour drive to the dc in vegas |

If you have not figured it out already - you should know where you stand when mining on this pool. Pretend like you hopped into an empty train box car to get from one place to another. If anything goes wrong, you will be the last know. So don't bother getting all hot about the owner not telling you anything, because he could care less. He does not run the pool for you. He runs it for himself. You will also be the last to get paid.
If you're OK with all that...this is a good pool to mine.

You ever go to Disney World? For their rides, they have these ridiculously long, winding lines to go through. Typically these lines are very long. Throughout your time going through these lines, they provide you warnings about the upcoming ride and give you the chance to exit if you wish. You'll see things like, "If you have a heart condition, do not take this ride." I feel like there are plenty of warning signs here for this pool. They have been posted multiple times. Things like, "the payout model is unsustainable" have been common throughout the thread. Yet, people continue to mine on the pool. I swear... you tell a person there are billions and billions of stars in the universe and they believe you without question. You tell that person the paint is wet... you point to the sign that also says the paint is wet... you show them the wet paintbrush, the tray of wet paint and the painter with the roller on the wall. That person will still touch the damn wall, look at the paint staining his finger and say, "Hey! The paint is wet!" |

I swear... you tell a person there are billions and billions of stars in the universe and they believe you without question. You tell that person the paint is wet... you point to the sign that also says the paint is wet... you show them the wet paintbrush, the tray of wet paint and the painter with the roller on the wall. I've not been sitting on IRC to get a priority payment, but have other people got partial payment?
It wasn't even a lot owed, only over 0.2, and I got a payment over 0.05 against it. Not sure if was a full back payment of a certain difficulty or what happened. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.
