BTC_China currently @ 760.02 Yuan = $122.00. The past several days it has followed BTC China every time.
I have found this to be a good indicator as well. I still haven't heard any intel on WHY btcchina is taking off. Was there some sort of buzz in China about BTC? Is it actual mainland Chinese that are using the exchange? I should have never given up studying Mandarin I should have started to learn it! Not to my knowledge has there been any press or buzz but I am obviously not Chinese. BtcChina currently @ 789.00 yuan = $127.29. Damn, I shouldn't have sold at $114. This thing is going to explode by tomorrow! More bad news for you, btc24Euro is at 95.6Euro = 122.51USD No where but up. This is fucking amazing. YESTERDAY I was jokingly telling my german friends: "USD 100, next stop EUR 100 this week". Not even 24 hours later bitcoin.de is trading at EUR 98.45.

You can go broke in almost any configuration. 'You never have X happen to you when you do Y' constructions are for the most part false.

Is it? Wealth. Please explain how it is possible to go broke making wealth. I took a vacation in Zimbabwe a few years ago and bought a wooden basket for 1000 Zimbabwe dollars. Before I left, knowing that I could not fit the basket on the plane I was able to sell it for 2000 Zimbabwe dollars. I made a profit of 1000 Zimbabwe dollars in a week! I had more wealth! Even though the value of Zimbabwe dollars went from $1/1000 Zimbabwe dollars to $1/10,000 Zimbabwe dollars that same week. Did I profit?

No. You lost. You made no wealth. IMO, wealth at its simplest is reusable production from lower "cost" production.

While there is some seriousness going on, I will just paste this for reference with some search tags: MARKET TOP BUBBLE BURST PEAK TULIP MANIA CRASH WARNING SIGNAL http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#rg5zig30-minzczsg2011-06-08zeg2011-06-11ztgSzm1g10zm2g25zvThe 2011 peak was characterized by a 60% climb in one day, 30% crash, recovery the next day, followed by a long decline. Plenty of time to take profits before reinvesting. History does not repeat, but it does rhyme. Keep an eye out for a similar bout of irrational exuberance...

You never go broke taking profit. Fiat isn't profit, accumulating more btc is. Seriously. You're not "taking profit" when you "sell" bitcoins for, e.g., U.S. dollars, you are simply exchanging one currency for another. Now, the value of both fluctuates over time, and nothing is guaranteed. But the important difference to me is that one has established, over the course of its lifetime, an unmistakable long-term trend of losing purchasing power over time. The other has a less-clearly established (due to the fact that it's younger) trend of gaining purchasing power over time.

Similar to the scarcity post, yeah looks like a decent-sized wall at $120 but surprisingly not a whole lot past that. A few more K and we'd be over $150.
Fun fact - Currently 117,000 BTC are needed to achieve $32 again. What was once the absolutely unbreakable ATH. Amazing.
Only 35K to go until $1,164!

The scariest part is the lack of bear-tantrums after 110. Is it possible they've ran out of bear juice? Or maybe they've learned they can't manipulate BTC any longer and have moved onto....scammier pastures...
