My theory on the absence of a mini-crash the past 24 hours is that because of all the bubble bullshit in the media last week, many newcomers were anticipating a crash and planned on buying the dip. In previous crashes, newcomers had no memory of earlier crashes and were thus more afraid of heights. As long as people keep on saying Bitcoin is in a bubble, the chances and severity of crashes are reduced.

Bitcoin is a huge-ass-bubble.

Biggest bubble I've ever seen.   Wink

So, I will ask again, $300 today, or we chill in the $250-270 range?

Someone needs to poke the BitStamp traders, BTC-E is trading higher than BitStamp at the moment. Tongue

BitStamp @235.00
BTC-E @246.50

Bitstamp has been strangely behind the other markets the last 24-48 hours... There has been some big ask walls put up, they are still there they just keep shifting back with the price.

Well at least looking at this from a mining perspective, miners can now afford ASICs (assuming vendors don’t get greedy).

Although given the astronomical delays I think BFL will actually ship...someday soon (relative).

I think the price should stabilize at 256. For binary logic purposes, of course.

Bitcoin combines money, the wrongest thing in the world, with software, the easiest thing in the world to get wrong.
