What the fuck is wrong with this paycon guy? Many of us my self included are here looking for answers about getting scammed. The last thing we need is some fagbutt promoting his crapcoin.
please report or remove that shit
I didn't say to buy it and don't buy it but we've spent about $800 and some hard work and shows what can be done. Remember, Josh dumped more than 40k USD on Christmas eve so that is 50X as much as he could have spent on features. Still under budget of building the worlds best Coin for under $1000 Josh/GAW could be interested in buying up PayCon and re-brand it to PayCoin 2.0 and BOOM one of the best Proof of Stake Coins in cryptouniverse. Plus the developer of the year 2015 which he could pay from the thousands of stashed away BTC If he can spend 40k X-Mas gift and 1,000,000$ on a Domain name , well then 150k for PayCon not so much 25k more then can buy Constand Onlineshop, too to finally make the Honor Program happen. But only CON accepted

But only CON accepted Remember that PayCon is mainly only held by Bitcointalk people who are tech capable, and so far all development paid was outsourced to community developers, this means that anything acquired adds buying power into the community instead of Coins being dumped for fiat. When you think of how a Coin can benefit you need to look at the wider ecosystem, it still has a lot of work to be done but it's getting there. Fun fact: If you dump millions of dollars into Fiat from BTC to pay for toys and whatnot, you drain the buying power out of the community.

Someone should tell him that it was GAWd himself who leaked it all over the interwebs by mistake or simply because doesn´t know shi.t about securtiy. (Or by purpose to, shi.t here ends my english, "let people forget to concentrate of the mess what`s really going on") Could be a tactic also. Everything possible nowadays There was no " hack" that i´m aware of (or i´m wrong?) https://hashtalk.org/topic/36590/this-industry-makes-me-sick/241

I don't feel bad at all for Garza for whatever personal information is exposed.
What does suck about it though, is that he uses to paint himself as a victim.
But on the other hand, anyone who still thinks he is a victim probably deserves what is coming to them.
So yeah, I support keeping the personal shit out of it, but at the same time, can't manage to muster up that much outrage.
To me the fact that Josh cannot keep his personal information secure, he has no business absolutely no business pretending to be some tech/financial guru that does not have the skills to protect his own information then he certainly cannot protect "the investors/customers" information. How many times have you heard some crypto scammer cry "we wuz hacked" ? The scam? Well they dont loose anything only the customers loose funds! Well I think it safe to say this time was a legitimate and provable hack that nailed the scammer! Josh brought this one himself, he is the one that decided to orchistrate this scam and take money from people he didnt know so Josh brought this on himself and many other people like his family... Josh isn't a victim but he created many. Now he wants to play the victim? He is a victim of his own stupidity, lack of programming skills, literacy, business skills and many other things... it takes to build a business, but that is not our fault, its his. Read the SEC complaint its pretty obvious they think he is a scammer too and not a very skilled scammer. http://www.scribd.com/doc/260708659/Securities-and-Exchange-Commission-Subpoena-of-GAW-Miners But about his kids? I am willing to give his kids the same consideration he gave the investors and customers kids. Oh wait that means I dont care what happens to his kids!!! They mean absolutely nothing to me, nor does his collection of skanks showing off their body parts... I will say this Josh in one nasty fucker and I am glad I dont know him personally or professionally.

I agree with you, I'm not sure how much of these leaks were hacks or intentional leaks. I also find the twitter "hack" a little fishy because they had it under control really fast and he was back tweeting in no time, anyone with experience knows thats a little unusual albeit not impossible.

I was wondering myself also how fast Twitter was on it. But would he post himself stuff like that? My bet is he had a very easy to guess password. He should have invested 10 Dollars in ENPASS and use strong 16 digit passwords best plus 2FA, if possible.

Sucks they got the twitter under control so fast... that guy was either really good or had worked up a routine before taking advantage of the account. Those were really funny... THEN to top it off the other guy complaining that Josh had posted private information on a public board... at first thought "from the leaked emails"... NOPE. He was complaining about Josh's post made by Josh to Hashtalk.

<snip>
Sending credit cards in plain text in email... that is beyond not taking care of his own shit... that's down right enough to piss off all of his banks! Then, the paycoin foundation may have sent out an email that all their credit cards used at GAW were leaked on the internet? And, they phased it as "All credit cards used at GAW"... so, that's not just the one email that's been posted here because that was just a couple transactions by a couple people... so, it sounds like SOMEONE from GAW internals is a tad bit on the disgruntled side and going full bore to shut everything down. If those credit cards were actually exposed, then we'll see just how "insured" the GAW operation really was because they'll be on the hook to pay for Identity Theft monitoring for all those card holders for the next year AND they'll have Secret Service crawling over their systems to determine how the compromise took place.

There was a picture of GAWDS wife`s boobs also. Well, not the worst boobs though. I think it was some guy who simply brute forced his Twitter Account. Password was maybe like "password123" or " josg123" and that´s pretty easy

Even if I would want to help PayCoin directly, for the most part I can't/won't because of moral reasons and for me it's much better to work on PayCon. They asked me if I wanted to help them with the original roadmap, I asked them if they wanted to outlay some of the ideas on PayCon instead.
Wasn't suggesting collaboration, just giving a technical hand following request as you already did. Fuck off you desperate dipshit. Ahhh! I love the way ignoring people reduces how much of this thread I have to read (never used it before it being suggested here)! However, I set you to ignore a number of pages ago, just flipped it to let you know ! Don't worry, you're welcome to do the same !

And in other news, Theymos forced by subpoena to give up all posts (both published and deleted), and PMs to authorities that mentioned BFL ~ Buttrefly Labs. ~ GB of text https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1027518.0So it gives you an insight on the future of this thread me thinks. Hey guys, just in case you wanted to build your own local, searchable archive of humorous scammery. This script will scrape the entire hashtalk site and download every thread in RSS form. This will create a shitload of RSS files, so be sure to run in its own subdirectory, ie ~/hashtalkscambullshit/ then paste in the following #/bin/bash
# if your name is homero, better hire the nations smartest developers and most feared lawyers to help you with this... we all know you have trouble with computers.
import urllib, os, time
def getstart(): startfrom = input('What post to start from? enter 0 to start from beginning: ') endon = input('What post to finish on? enter something like 40000 to get the whole site: ') runloop( startfrom, endon );
def runloop( i, x ): currentlyat = 0 pauseat = 10 total = x - i while i <= x: if currentlyat == pauseat: os.system('clear') print "Always Profitable! Hang on, grabbing threads %s - %s.... Hopefully PayCoin doesn't reach $0 before we're finished!" % ( i, i + 10) pauseat = pauseat + 10 time.sleep(1) else: os.system('wget -b -a htwgetlog --no-check-certificate -q --show-progress https://hashtalk.org/topic/%s.rss > /dev/null' % (i,i)) i = i + 1 currentlyat = currentlyat + 1 os.system('clear') print "%s threads downloaded." % total print "We're done! Enjoy searching the scam database."
getstart() execute It'll ask you which post to start from (0 if you're beginning or another number if you're resuming a previous scrape) Then it'll ask which post to stop at. I don't know what the currently highest known post is, haven't bothered to check. Oh, whats that you say? You say you're only interested in Homero's Sales pitches? No problem! #/bin/bash wget https://hashtalk.org/user/mrceo/topics.rss bump... updated to reflect that there are only about 37000 posts total, so set your max to ~38000 to catch everything.
