Lost NiP vs VP, VP played unexpectedly well and just stomped NiP. Was entertaining to watch NiP getting outplayed that hard, even though i lost the bet.
Meanwhile, a lot more progleague lines appeared, with a ton of value. Some of the lines look so incredibly juicy that i suspect they could be a result of bookie's mistake.
Have 8 starcraft bets pending at the moment.

Pretty insane Dota 2 DreamLeague finals, had VirtusPro ML @2.7, and they took took first 2 maps, and had a strong advantage in the map 3, it looked like an easy 3-0.
The live odds of them winning a series at that point would be probably 1.005 or something like that. It would be very annoying to lose that, given how sharp the bet was.

Frustrating loss sos vs byul. Taking sOs @2.3 and wathcing odds drop to 1.8 making him fav, then watching him outclassing Byul in game1.
Unfortunately he made the same retarded mistake @map2 @map4 that costed him games, if he would look back at those games he would realize he should've won 4-0.

Had Rain today for 1.45, line closed at about 1.35-1.3, so beating the line for quite a bit. Rain takes first map after the very long lategame that i did not expect at all, but he still played way better than Curious with all that constant harassment.
Expecting 4-1 or 4-2 for Rain

Why don't you diversify and bet on other e-sports if the rest of the month is so dry? Like Counter Strike or something.

Rain takes it 4-2, but he really should've won 4-0 there. Curious managed to take 2 wins due to the : 1) Retarded map with the gold base which favours zerg by a huge margin, i am not sure why Blizzard keeps making such gimmicky unbalanced maps, nothing good ever comes from it. And 2) Silly micro mistake by Rain during map4, allowing zerglings in his base and doing tons of damange (and still the game was very close, showing how far ahead Rain is, when it comes to raw skill)
Dota 2 ESL odds were released today with quite a bit of value in all 4 matches. I like 1 of them especially because of the certain piece of information that the public could've missed.

When that was embarassing from Dream, giving that i took him 1.38 and he dropped all the way to 1.24 and still got destoyed by Classic.
He was definately a better player and raw skill is usually enough to win a bo7 just because builds and strategies alone wont carry you all the way.
But in this case, Dream gave too much free wins by failing his scouting patterns and build orders, and overall choked under pressure. Dissapointing as hell. The quality of games were extremely low too.

About +0.8 unit gain yesterday from Dota ESL grand finals between Secret and EG.
Had bets on Secret ML, -1,5 and -2,5, and won the first too.
They could've won the series 3-0 too, if they would draft a little less cocky in the first game, but whatever, it was a small bet on 3.66 odds that was +ev no matter how you look at it.
Secret are strongest the team in the world now for sure, but even then, they are quite a number of flaws in their game, they are very, very far from being unbeatable. The TI5 is going to be extremely interesting.

Meh day @Sc2 proleague.
Did not really have any straight bets (Prime lines not being offered anyway), but Bravo winning Rogue on the back of the double rax cheese was a very annoying parlay killer.
Even thought Rogue is not in the top form, he is still a much better player and almost outplayed his way into the victory from the impossible situation, but its still was not enough.

Lmao now losing a sick value bet @1.95 on 4Clovers -1.5 vs PR which was closer to 1.4-1.6. PR had no chance in either game, until the Ddos happened.
I am honestly puzzled why tournament organizers keep inviting this shady team, when its pretty fucking obvious that their opponents getting ddoses is a far from a coincidence.
curious, was the edge on the 4clovers game that worth to bet on them despite your knowledge they were a shady team?

A big % of their games results in their opponents being ddosed and unable to play. And yet they are still invited to some tournaments. I knew the risk of the ddos, but it was assumed that 4clovers solved their ddos protection issues, and the match was expected to go smoothly. And yes, edge was pretty damn big.

Aren't these invitational tournaments played out on closed for the outside world LAN networks? Or everything is connected to the WWW? I would assume it's the latter if these ddos events keep happening lol.

Most of the small tournaments are played online. Some are partially played online, and playoffs played on LAN. Big ones are LAN only.

4 Active picks atm, 1 for Starcraft GSL, 2 for WCS, and one dota WCA (managed to get a sick good odds before the line sharpened up).
Yesterday brough my abysmal 30% winrate for this month to 36%, curious to see what will it be by the end of the month. Unfortunately there wont be any proleague day or anything like that like a qualifier, something that provides a ton of volume to even out the variance.

Took CDEC ML @6.7 against Vici (line closed @4.5, yikes), and they won 2-0 against slumping Vici who looked absolutely terrible today.
Easy +2.5 units or so.

Lookes like i've missed Starcraft 2 GSL finals between Rain and Byul, turns out Rain won 4-1
Had 1.5 units on Rain @1.65 for near ~1 unit of profit.
Will have to look at the VOD's later, but have a feeling that it was just a pretty one sided crappy games, which is pretty standard for GSL finals.

I was thinking the other day about betting on Hearthstone games. I know Blizzard is pushing it into the e-sports scene but will it raise to the star craft status?

Well compared to Dota/LoL popularity, "starcraft status" is actually pretty shit. I dont think Hearthstone is going to be any more popular than its already is. It is in a decent place right now.
