Proof of Stake isn't the same as it is now and if you have COL then it will be swappable for CV2. I went through nearly a dozen different tests and released it as X13 alongside the takeover of PayCon as both Coins can help offset development costs.

I don't think you understand that Crypto is open source and can be developed by anyone so if you own it you should be actively trying to improve the code.

My first post on bitcoin talk was after I joined the COL forums and I have already achieved everything I set out to do and am still actively developing it after nearly a year and a half. I have never even owned much COL, still only have 2 mil since Feb of last year.

CONdate

I need to raise 0.7 btc immediately for a large update, if I can gather the amount by Friday, it will be finished by Sunday. Some people just add 1 feature, I've got 10!

RPC calls (command line help items)

getmoneysupply (nHeight)  - view the money supply by blockheight
Moneysupply - view money supply growth information.
Setsplitthreshold -  set your stake split threshold and gain more stake
Getsplitthreshold -  view your threshold limit
Addnode - add nodes on the command line
Getaddednodeinfo - information about added nodes
Rescanfromblock (nheight)  - rescan backups from a certain height
Deleteaddress - delete old addresses
Stakeforcharity - Set a percent of your stake to be sent automatically to any address

Bug fixes and improvements

Better stake estimation
Added blocks by weight to coin control
Fix of volume in statistics to read as accurate money supply
Gui features
Windows and Mac wallet rebuilds

Minimum fee will be increased to 0.05 Coins per transaction and this will require a hardfork. This change will make it comparatively expensive to send a lot of transactions but will also increase the proof of stake reward as all fees are paid to stakers.

I can confirm this is for me. Crestington reached out for some advice and some tweaks to the code. I have been watching his repo the past few weeks and we have exchanged some code talk before this. I wanted a bit of skin in the game from the community and a bit of CON on the side for my time (because this is the last day in town before I go on vacation, so my time is very valuable at the moment).

I hope to work in the future with Crestington and the community here to help implement some more efficient staking code as well as some new features (maybe replace S4C with multisend?), this is really up to Crestington not me. I won't be asking for more BTC wise, and will be here to help. Just wanted to drop by and let everyone know that this is a really fun coin and Crestington is working hard behind the scenes to improve it Cheesy

@Crestington,
Dear dev, this happened for the third time to me, I mean two times before I deleted everything in Roaming and re-downloaded everything from the start...

And even after clicking retry, it shows "Runtime Error". What should I do this time?

Hey, thanks for dropping by.  I'm a CONnoisseur of fine coins, and HYP is another that I have always respected, and hedl.
It's really nice to see you offering to help out  with the code, it's much appreciated Grin

Unfortunately, I gambled nearly all my BTC on http://www.cryptohalve.com/   I kept thinking today is going to be the day. the BIG payout, I kept doubling down. Needless to say, my BTC funds are running low.
I'd be happy to donate, if had available BTC funds. I'll send you PM with an offer, you may be willing to CONsider.

FTFOI  Hope you get a chuckle

Wish I could help more, but I can only tell you what I would do.
I would go back into appdat/roaming and copy my wallet.dat into a safe place(usb or other storage device).
Than delete everything in that folder except wallet.dat, like you did.
Restart wallet.
If it gives you the same error message, delete everything including wallet.dat(You have a copy, right?)
Restart wallet, it will build a new wallet.dat, and let it sync.
If that fresh wallet syncs, close wallet. Go back into that appdatroaming folder, and paste your original(saved) wallet.dat into it's home.
If that works, then copy that whole folder into a safe place, just in case you run into this problem again. You can use it to sync from that point, at a later date if needed.
Hope that helps, I haven't had any similar issues, but that's the steps I would take, if I did.

Yeah because I gave you 20k CON, plus CV2 and COL for free and posted on the EXCL thread multiple times at your request and was willing to help you with development and asked to borrow 0.2 btc for 3 days and provide CON as collateral and then you didn't want to just because the volume was low so I felt insulted that I would go out of my way to help you so often and the first request I ask for some help, that it becomes fairweather friends Sad

I will look into this, what you can do is move your wallet.dat out of your appdata/roaming folder, delete the blockchain, and reopen your client and sync up to the highest chain. Once fully synced, close your client, replace the empty wallet.dat with the one containing your balance, and restart your client. You likely have a couple bad transactions as its been a while since you last used your wallet, also make sure you are using the latest client and you could further make sure you are syncing to the correct nodes by creating a PayCon.conf file using the guide in the second message of the thread.

Still looking to raise about 0.3 BTC for the latest update and recover a bit of costs of the build, there is still 28k available on C-Cex @ 680 Satoshis available for sale and this goes directly towards advancement of development and marketing of the most innovative CryptoCurrency on the planet.

If you would like to donate some Coins directly you can also send them to the Development Fund, so far we have raised 0.37 BTC of our goal of 0.7 BTC

PayCon: PRTwwhAWZuNemNYd72GY6wtFnA8CnJs82p
BTC: 1jcXEw4v8DnMd9Ez6saYKxEpm1jXTTtEH

So far the entire costs of all Development and Marketing of PayCon ever has been a total of $400!

With so much interest and the lowest costs around, how could not want to be a part of the CON?

And done, all the changes have been pushed to github for the build, just waiting to finish compiling of the windows and mac wallets.

If you have Linux you can build it from source straight away.

Only way to get PayCon is to buy it and you make PayCon for holding it, plus you get paid Fees from all transactions in the Blocks you Stake.

You could get about 1% of the coins for about $100 on C-Cex (that would make the entire marketcap worth about 10k USD)

Sooo cheap, lol

Here's a sneak peak, the text sizing has already been fixed though. Along with CON for charity comes nearly a dozen RPC calls (help items), some new icons, Y U no guy added back to the statistics page, better Stake time estimation, sorting of transactions by weight in Coin Control, checkwallet and repairwallet added to tools, ability to set your own Stake split thresholds, increased minimum Fee to 0.05 Coins per transaction/combine
