Nice work. Man, I can't wait until the fork!

So after the fork the main incentive to hold will be the lottery blocks correct?   Smiley

i like where things are moving.  Wink
spots you really proof to have balls asking echanges to DElist coins. But that proofs that you see the Three as a package which is a great  and makes delisting the other two the right decision. perhaps they change their mind now they see your serious.
love this type of attitude beeing respectful but not hanging on the nuts of everyone. Defenatly is fun to watch. keep up man.

lol, so many experiment 10k's out there

I would be curious to see the graph of 10K inflation and how it relates to the minimum Stake and Block times.

I don't think it's a good idea to ask for your Coins to be delisted, it would make it harder later on to get them relisted and polo is a big market you would be losing.

I just finally sent my email to Mobydick

the main part

"iGotSpots said that you referred to it as being the same as BALLS which couldn't be further from the truth. 10kcoin has 30 sec blocks and a network weight of 4 billion. has been 10,000% pos since mid way through the pow phase which ended with around 60k coins the rest have all been created through the massive 10k% distribution phase which ends at block 360k... where it's inflation will be halted by approx 90% by altering the pos rate to 10% while still giving it's users an awesome incentive to hold by incorporating a 10% chance at finding a "superblock" which will be 10k% pos return.

Yes after the fork BALLS will share the 10% standard pos return but users will only have a 1% chance of finding the massive 100k% superblocks, so they're really both quite unique... there will also be a massive difference in their money supplies as well so if anything they complement each other. iGotSpots has proven to be a determined developer and quickly address's concerns when they come up with any of his 3 coins. users should definitely be able to pick up all 3 of his coins at the same exchange. adding 10k well before it changes at block 360k would allow your users the chance to cash in on it's distribution phase."

Thanks  Wink

Just to clarify, though, BALLS will not have the flat 10% - BALLS stake rate will be the last two numbers of the timestamp, unless they are 00, which will create a 100,000% superblock. It does not have flat rates at all like 10k does  Wink

Here's the exact response, just so you guys know how they feel

Quote from: mobydick
Thanks for your interest in having Poloniex list 10k.  Unfortunately for a variety of reasons, Poloniex is unlikely to add 10K in the near future.  These include:

10K appears to be another project very similar to snowballs, which we already have listed.  At the time we listed it, snowballs demonstrated something new, and there was considerable interest in the market for it.  Sentiment from our staff (partially reflecting that of our users as well), is that 10k isn't as interesting as Snowballs was.

10k is an "experiment" - while we love the idea of being a lab for crypto tests, we are also running a business, and at some point I need to make a choice of how likely it is that a particular market will have lasting value. Once the experiment is complete, is there a use for 10K?

Finally, I am coordinating an array of upcoming listings, and the timing for something one might deem gimmicky (crazy high lotto style staking without additional practical value) just isn't right for our indices.

Thanks for reaching out.

Hmmm... seems like they have a bunch of coins listed that, in the interest of "also running a business", should be delisted because, frankly, they are doing NOTHING for their business! If a store adds a product and it doesn't do well, they put it on clearance and never restock. But they take a chance because of potential. It costs them their initial investment, but they move on from their loses. In crypto, an exchange lists a coin. It costs them nothing (practically), but they make money, at the very least, from withdrawal fees and trading fees. If they make nothing, which is very unlikely, they delist. There is something bigger going on here.

Well by their reasoning, they wouldn't pass over a coin that has been front page of Bittrex, sorted by volume, for over a month. It's a bullshit response

We are still on the Bittrex front page while half of the coins listed on Poloniex have under .02 volume. Fucking pathetic

Just so you guys know, I have requested that Poloniex delist both BALLS and MMXIV. The reasoning is simple: these three coins are a package deal. Not having all 3 on the same exchanges fucks up a lot on our backend. Without getting into detail, the problems caused by having 2/3 coins listed in one place far outweigh the benefits for those two coins

I still like Poloniex, but they think BALLS and 10k are the same coin. I have respect for them, but this situation is fucking things up for us and it's not worth the time to change things because one exchange doesn't understand the difference between two coins

I respectfully ask everyone to request the same from mobydick and busoni. In this current situation, things are being inconvenienced for no reason. I've consulted with those in a decision making role for services or coin maintenance on these coins and we agree that this is the best way to move all three coins forward

These three very unique (and very different from each other) coins are a package deal. If one does not get listed, none should

Just want it to be clear that I am not trying to disrespect them at all. I actually find busoni fascinating

From Poloniex News:

The following coins are being considered for delisting on 3/29/15: BALLS, CINNI, CNOTE, GDN, GML, MMXIV, MRS, NRS, SRCC, TAC, WOLF

https://twitter.com/PurePoS/status/577176891217604608 - I don't know how else to say it, while still being respectful, other than this tweet and the small sentence below

To be clear, I have no problems with Poloniex other than not wanting 10k. Still have massive respect for busoni. No hard feelings on my end, but if they don't want to support our entire project (not to mention, again, 10k is STILL on the front page of Bittrex by volume since day 1 of being listed), then this is the best solution long term
