Some get, some don't.

Don't get palmed off by them, hold your ground.

What a bunch of scam artists. I've tried to get my "neucoins" they offered in not one, but two giveaways with no luck. I was so naive that I even wrote in their forum, nothing. I think they even deleted my post. That alone will tell you everything you need to know about the men behind this project.

The problem is that, in the weeks I held this coin, I never staked once. If you don't own millions of NEU, you just aren't likely ever to stake, due to the sheer massive staking power of the billions of coins held by the Neucoin foundation. As a small holder, this is a major deal breaker and barrier to mainstream adoption.

If they are serious about improving distribution, Neucoin should seriously consider turning off staking and letting other people find a block once in a while.

Some remarks:

Neucon is the definition of centralized.
PoS coins can be fun, but not if non-regime coins have a slower growth rate than team-member coins - you will always lose compared to the regime.
As a small owner you can only decide whether to lose in a quick (by just holding) or a slower way (by storing all your coins in growth accounts). Growth accounts grow slower than "really staking" accounts because, yeah, the team wants to earn with you. Plus if you want to cancel early, the team takes all of your earnings. It goes without saying that you will always lose if you consider the inflation rate.
The regime holds 99% percent of all coins and cannot turn off their staking for security reasons. They can do rollbacks as they please, they only give out coins if they now your personal data (fb-account, cell number, email and more).
