Once blocks start rolling is the only option to move coins to one of the exchanges in preparation of new chain? I know from way back the Asiacoin migration allowed you to use old wallet file for use in the new client. Just curious on the process.
I doubt miners and pool operators will want to donate resources for very long, so if that is the required step people will want to do that right away.

Sweet, thanks If you have the premine, I made a burn address. These coins will not move and will not be swapped (or created) in the new chain I have created a custom address for the premine to be destroyed. This address will ensure they are NOT TRADED IN at any point

It would probably be better to wait for now. I highly doubt spots wants to screw with this old wallet at all or run it in general since he has 0 coins. After the migration completes would be a better time to donate. The original Dev said for ocminer to keep his 5% from premine but spots said he does not want to deal with any premine and it all must be burned. I think ocminer could put an address up after the migration as well and stick with the plan of 0 premine on new chain. |
