Hi beans, I'm just about to set up a staking mini pc for some coins including Bitbeans. My question is that when I'm downloading the wallet, how much storage do I need exactly? For Bitbeans or more steaking wallets. Since mini pcs mostly just have around 50-90 GB. Thank you very much!

Not much, I used to stake 5 coins on a mini PC, while using it for basic  browsing. unfortunately I didn't back all wallets up and when it crashed it took now value of 30 BTC of one with it,
And given the nature of the SSD they use if the controller in the chip goes so does your coins. =)

30BTC shit... that's sad, but I should be fine when backing it up right? Or how are you staking atm? Or what is the most efficien way with low energy to stake 24/7 ? Thanks again

Yes, Windows 10 is the virus. The solution is to immediately download a copy of Kubuntu:  http://www.kubuntu.org . Backup all your important data..including your BitBean wallet.dat file! Burn the DVD iso image to a DVD-R. Shutdown Windows immediately afterward! Reboot with KUbuntu DVD image and install!

Welcome to the community, No you don't need 1 million beans to start. You can start with any amount above 1k however it will take a very long time to sprout unless you are lucky. I recommend at least 50k minimum or 100k if you can as that should earn you a sprout each week. The more you own the more chance you have at sprouting more beans. If you can't afford the amounts I said then try and get as many as you can for now and see if you get lucky at sprouting but bare minimum would be at least 10k beans which is around 800k sats right now.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

How much are you Staking Sprouting?

I am getting 1000 per day for keeping 1 Million BITBeans in Wallet.

This is 30% profit per year for doing nothing.

It is huge in compare to saving accounts in banks, where you can't get a 1% per year for a present days.

Invest into $XVG $PND $PAC $LDOGE created by people changing the world and unchaining money for freedom and privacy

Do not support Premined ANTI-coins like $XRP $XLM $ADA $TRX $IOTA killing FREEDOM of money

You're welcome! Yes that is correct you will need to sprout 24/7 to have more of a chance to sprout some beans. Sprouting every 6 or so hours can earn you some beans but I have found that if you sprout 24/7 you earn a lot more over the long term as I used to just sprout 8 hours a day and never really got any sprouts and I had a few hundred thousand beans sprouting.

@Dresdin

I believe this was meant to be fixed and the syncing was to auto connect to active nodes. You might need to add a config file and add nodes to get your wallet to start syncing. I believe there is a tutorial in the OP which should help with your issue.
