Vote to add BitBean here: http://cryptofolio.info/welcome/vote
The Android Keychain App ("Wallet") is currently available in Beta release and available to Bean Core members for testing now.
I expect it will move to GA (Generally Available) very soon!

The best way to stay up-to-date with what is happening with Bitbean, is to join our IRC Channel #teambean on Freenode: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#teambean
Not only do you get the latest information, but you can get some Free Bitbeans from our resident TipBot (Beaner) that rains down Bitbean frequently!
Why not become a part of the success of Bitbean, by becoming actively involved and contributing to the community today -- and meet some of the great Beaners in our community?
Bitbean had no IPO, ICO or Pre-mine. We are a long-term digital currency that will be around for at least the next 95+ years! Our current development team is comprised of all volunteers. If you would like to see faster developments, please consider a small donation to DevCore. We are actively engaged in bringing another active developer on board our team. Any donations are appreciated. We have some exciting plans for Bitbean moving forward!
DevCore Donations (Specifically allocated as incentives, for attracting top talented developers. Currently we are looking to raise 5 Million Bitbean.):

Thank you for your consideration.

I think the BitBean community should start using this https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/bitb/overview to leave comments on the forum. It's very well build and I'm sure that we can reach more people by having a strong presence there.... what do you say beanners??? // I've already sent a message asking them to update the logo and left a positive quote some day ago

Recently, we've had some discussion in Bean Core about redefining our image and marketing. One of our goals is to inject a more professional and mature image of Bitbean to our target audience: average consumers (Not necessarily crypto-currency geeks).
Currently our Tagline for Bitbean is: "Bigger..Faster...Stronger!"
Bean Core would like to solicit new ideas for a Tagline. In doing so, we are opening up this process to the wider Bitbean Community (Team Bean).
After some discussion in our official IRC channel #teambean on Freenode, we've come up with the following rules for the contest:
1.) For each tagline submitted, a reward of 1,000 BitB will be sent to the associated BitBean address.
2.) One tagline entry per BitBean address. We recommend Beaners to submit a maximum of 5 entries each.
3.) Anyone can pay the 1,000 BitB reward, so even those that don't have any ideas for a new Tagline can participate.
4.) Rewards will be considered paid, when a post is amended to a post with a new Tagline along with the originator's BitBean address. An entry will be considered paid when a transaction ID is amended to the Tagline posting.
5.) Entries must be posted in this thread on this forum (Our official forum & Thread): http://www.bitbean.org/forum/new-bitbean-tagline-contest
6.) No copies from previous posts, only original taglines.
7.) The contest will be open for one-week from the date of this posting.
8.) All eligible entries at the end of the contest period, will be compiled and submitted to Bean Core members for a vote on the best one. 100,000 Bitbeans will be awarded to the associated winning Tagline. An announcement of the new chosen Tagline will be made in this original thread, along with a Twitter announcement 48hrs. after the contest period ends.
9.) A tagline should be short and elicit an emotional reaction.

But overall, nice site! We should show them we appreciate it and use it

A brief update. One of DevCore's team member has a family member in the hospital, please pray for their strong recovery. Meanwhile, I'm re-organizing the office and putting together a new Bean Lab. More developments forthcoming, after things get re-organized and setup here, and as other devs get back. As a side note, Bean Core now has it's own collaboration Git infrastructure for working on the new technology that will be in v2.0 (v2.0 Technology is being developed in a closed-source environment until it is ready for GA.) Best Regards to all of our Beaners out there. For the long-term win, Shawn Kent (aka Bitbeaner) Director of Operations, Project Manager, Lead Developer Bean Core, Team Bean, BitBean www.bitbean.orgP.S. Don't trade on Yobit, their wallet has been in maintenance almost two weeks. I've been in contact with them and they claim they have no active nodes. They were supplied with over 100 active nodes and encouraged to upgrade to the latest source. If the issue persists, I will be putting the issue before Bean Core to consider de-listing Bitbean on Yobit. Yobit has recently been adding a flurry of new scam coins, but not maintaining wallets of established reputable coins. So this is an area of concern. Would appreciate some feedback from the community on this issue as well. We've seen similar things happening with Cryptsy before it went belly up. (Reports are surfacing about withdrawl/deposit issues.) Yobit was one of the original exchanges that listed Bitbean, so it is not my wish to de-list them. It is my hope that Yobit can resolve the issue with it's Bitbean wallet in a timely manner. I have reached out to them and offered support if they need.

If I request a rpc command like getrawtransaction, I get the error: { [Error: No information available about transaction] code: -5 } Is the -txindex Option not available in the current Version?

If I request a rpc command like getrawtransaction, I get the error: { [Error: No information available about transaction] code: -5 } Is the -txindex Option not available in the current Version? That is correct, it is not available in the current version. It is being added in v1.2 (Due out this summer). If you have a project that requires it, let me know and Bean Core could do a custom build with it in, to hold you over until v1.2 is released. The plan is to eventually catch-up to Bitcoin core (for the most part.) Please contact via email if you need that ( admin@bitbean.org). Still getting the new Bean Lab setup, so will take some time to catch-up.

If the projects are at a acceptable state, I'll get back to you.

still 57.000.000 are waiting for dump from 2FkKuwtXaWzwKpvRHxaHzjzsoUoNMQrjRS aka 2KEVjSYdNUSynumTNq6dwjAnhCcH4TERjw (110.000.000) Who is the stupid owner of this wallet? place a sell order or dump it in one step. But do not sell bit by bit like a noob with a failed investment. you lost your money, it's hard for yourself, but this is cryptocurrency-world (by the way, this coin has a "~95years" time line )
