It's the Season of Giving, Happy Holidays! Warm Regards, Shawn Kent Project Manager & Lead Developer Bean Core, Team Bean, BitBean "BitBean, Fast..Simple..Secure..More Than Just a Digital Currency!" www.bitbean.orgI was late to re-tweet this to earn the bounty but I re-tweeted it anyway to help spread the word to my 830 followers and hopefully bring in new people to BitBean. Looks like we got over the volume we needed to stay on Bittrex which is great to see as we needed to keep this exchange. Great work everyone and let's keep it up! I'll be buying another 100,000 Beans on Sunday from the faucet payments I receive.

So what's the latest scoop here?
We had enough volume on Bittrex to maintain our listing there. v1.1.2 "wallet" core release will be coming next.

That's great and I'm glad to see we still have Bittrex exchange and now the community must maintain that volume or else it may come up for de-listing again which we don't want. Looking forward to the next wallet release dev. Keep up the good work!

An application on android anticipate how the plan? Or we have deviated from the schedule?
We already have an Android BitBean KeyChain App ("wallet"): http://www.bitbean.org/downloads.htmlHowever, the server donated to us by CloudMonkey disappeared offline and I have not heard back from them on what happened. So the bitbean-electrum servers, the primary one has been missing. Our electrum servers are what allows thin "wallets" to work. I have setup a new VPS on our dedicated server to replace the one we lost. It is taking some time for it to sync with the block chain, but the BitBean-electrum network should be operational in another day. So until it finishes sync'ing, the Android BitBean Keychain won't show your balance for BitBean. Bitcoin balances are not affected. Your BitBean are safe on the blockchain, just won't be able to access them till the electrum network is fully back up. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Regarding further Android apps for BitBean, yes a Sprouting node/"wallet" is in the pipeline. I'm not going to speculate on when that will be released.

Write me a pm and list your requirements and I could calculate a price for you. I have a list of all bitbean exchanges in my german announcment post. link

I am updating the ANN and links on our website. If you know any BitBean related websites or that accept BITB for payment, please post here.

U think making wallets and connecting them between each other would relieve the fading awareness among masses. Wallets broken and operate with zero fee, nodes down, I keep losing connection every 3 seconds and the bottleneck seems to be that ur servers send viruses over broadband protocols cloaked by i2p. U be a small turtle unwilling to develop and not listening to demanding sheeple.

Same here, I've never had a problem with the wallet not syncing or loosing connections. I always have about 8+ connections every day and all through the day they stay around that many. Just purchased another few hundred thousand Beans from Bittrex to help keep the volume up and the good thing is the daily volume on Bittrex is great at the moment and hopefully this stays like this.

So bitbean is traded mostly on bittrex? I have a bunch over at cryptopia, but the activity on their markets is....very inactive. I'm surprised at seeing how big the community is here, after thinking the coin was dead! I'll have to move to another exchange....cheers guys, best of luck to the bitbean project as well!

Yes that is correct, most of the daily trading volume is on Bittrex which is good for the coin as we need as much daily volume as we can on this exchange. Because we don't want BitBean to be delisted as Bittrex is one of the top exchanges in the crypto world. And same goes to you my friend good luck!

I have used the BitBean wallet on several platforms (debain 8, Vista, Windows 7 and windows 10), both 32bit and 64bit, none have had any problems other than slight rendering differences. Currently I am using Windows 7 64bit with an outdated BitBean.conf finding 10 peers and it is staking 24/7, note to myself, update the BitBean.conf. Backup your wallet.dat regularly (with a copy saved on a USB stick or better still save the BitBean folder when the wallet is not active, that will negate a lengthy resync if disaster hits). I shutdown and reload the wallet now and again but don't forget to unlock for staking though. Other maintenance functions if you are staking is to activate the Bean control features so that you can reblock really old ones and ones that are too small. Maybe this is another discussion, I am glad to advise. Anyone having wallet problems please relate as much information here or one of the many other avenues of communications found on the Bean website http://www.bitbean.org .
