The cryptsy thing is going to fuck this up even further.

Do any of the coins being staked have a purpose besides trading on cryptsy? If people can't get btc off of cryptsy, they are going to buy these coins, making the price go up, but then people are going to be left with (even more) useless other coins. This is probably going to screw lots of people over, who knows what it will do to Leroy's crazy accounting system.

How is that exactly? I own the PoS coins that are staking at Stakeminers, I get them back if I choose to leave. I hold 35 btc of PoS coin there. I receive .75 btc a week from Stakeminers. You do the math... Or would you prefer someone to divide for you?? that is just over 46 weeks, lets say 50 weeks for market fluctuations...

Currently a major crypto-currency trading firm is selling about 3 million Netcoin each month, which is putting heavy downward pressure on the price which Stakeminers cannot counter given our BTC reserves. Looks like he's padding payouts by circling coins through the payout address. I can't imagine any other reason for the 1 BTC to be included on the Payouts page as it's clearly not a payout transaction. 1.29586265 BTC also looks too high to be any investor's payout. Perhaps that's some extra advertising/rent/food/lodging/entertainment expenses. You can't have too many of those.

Stakeminers - This Week - 25 October 2015

Earnings remain consistent at 1.6% per week, with a recent range of 1.5% to 1.8%. The major impact is the value of the altcoins and the rate they stake, any bonsuses paid by specific coins, and the impact on the staking fund of deposits or withdrawals.

Stakeminers, like others, had technical issues on Cryptsy.  As a result there were delays in our Buy/Sell orders for altcoins to Bitcoin (BTC) and this caused a brief delay in finalizing this week's payouts.  Our issue has been referred to their support team for correction.  Cryptsy recognized that there were technical issues with numerous accounts following the rollout of their new verification and account Tier system.

There were 5 withdrawals this week for a total of 2.5 BTC.  Given the continued rise in value of the BTC/USD exchange rate there were concerns we would see a sustained series of withdrawals, however this did not materialize.  We thank our clients for their support.

Regarding withdrawals, we would ask our clients to please tell us by Friday before the payout Monday.  Withdrawal requests made the day before, or the day of, payouts (Sunday) do not provide adequate time to convert altcoins to BTC for payments.

As a reminder to all clients, the new withdrawal policy comes into effect 1 November 2015.
