According to havelock, they are worth ฿0.2998
Given dividends were rubbish this week, I don't see them going much lower. Unless we get some bad news out of AM, which is always possible.
I don't think we can look to the Havelock pricing at this point. They haven't paid this weeks dividend yet. I'd be surprised to see the share price hold at this level once Havelock have published the dividend for 24 hours. People know what divs are for this week surely? They don't have to wait for them to appear at havelock to know what is coming. Also, the vast majority of shares are not held at havelock, but are direct. I think most share holders have already known the dividend this week . Plus the dump from .32 to .27 happened @ announcement, and recovered over the day to almost .30 again. Faster than I expected. Test again next week  I think this was the big test, and the price hasn't really budged. Sure, divs can go lower, but they are so low now, it won't make much difference to share price. Upcoming tests of share price will be more news-based than divs-based ... finally  True. divs are likely to half or less before gen3 rolls out, depending on competitor deployment. That hurts, but when you're expecting near zero anyway, meh. Even delays in deployment of G3 shouldn't be much of a shake. Anyone hodling that long isn't going to panic dump over a few more weeks. We can just hope for some forced liquidation sales  Even then, the fur is going to fly over who gets to snap them up, rather than better bargains. |

For the long-term AM shares holders, I just only have one question: Do you have faith that Asicminer will get 5%~15% of the whole network in the next few years(maybe 2 years later or 5 years later ), and why ?

Not faith, but hope. There are just too many unknowns to have "faith". Gen3 will tell us a great deal. Before that, we are just a bunch of thumb twiddlers ........... |

September-November: Deploy/sell the hashpower ordered at early July.
November-December: Experimental products of 2nd-gen chips and modular large-scale deployment solutions.
I don't think that counts as a missed deadline. As I understand it, there were experimental Gen2 chips and products for testing in November. Unfortunately, they did not live up to expectations. Modular large-scale deployment solutions appear to be on-track as promised though. |
