Sometimes I feel like this is a forum for toddlers. Sorry to be disrespectful but this is just silly.
That is simply one of AM's Franchisee's. Calm down.
"That" being what ? The hash rate ? Or the farm pics ? Farm pics obviously, the btcguild id is AM's own. If that's the case, who is acting like toddlers? Nobody said anything except that the farms were impressive, while Franktank established that they were a big AM customer right away. Surely everyone sees it as a positive thing?

That's HashRatio, one of AM's largest chip buyers.
Thanks for the info Franktank. Can I ask how you know that? Also, do you know anything about how much AM hardware they have or will receive? And finally, which pool (if any) or mining address they mine for? I don't imagine there are too many places in the world that have access to abundant electricity, and building codes that make it possible for you to plop down a new warehouse every two weeks. This means these guys are benefiting from some huge advantages in this space, making it really hard for competing operations to keep up with. I think back to all the articles I've read about so and so planning on building a mining datacenter, that will be fully operational within X months. Everyone 'oohing' and 'aahing' at their magnificence, while in the same span of time, a dozen Chinese guys built 10 of them somewhere without a peep. I'm not certain but I posted this back in July: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.msg7875245#msg7875245

I mis-read Frank's post and thought he had personal knowledge that the btcguild hashrate was hashratio. I was referring to the btcguild hash rate being attributed to AM.

It happens but yes, the user 67117 is (or should be) AM. That was their account on BTCGuild before they went solo, way back when.

The hashrate appearing on BTCGuild could be from the franchised miners. AM could assign a worker to each franchisee, so all the hashrate AM owns through franchising gets pointed to one place. It could be AM themselves, rolling out equipment until they get to the point where switching to solo-mining makes sense again. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

AM uses a calculation to determine how much BTC each franchisee owes them per difficulty adjustment period. There would be no reason to have them mine to a specific pool/worker address.

whatever happened to that 8btc interview been like 5 days
I asked that yesterday apparently no response yet unless I'm messing up the interviews lol. sent a PM to hl5460 asking when they were expecting to have the interview up (wasn't trying to rush them, just wanted to know if it was going to be like the bitell interview/non-interview). Our guy just came back to the office this morning. We will rush him to produce the feedbacks. Just curious if they got back to you yet since it's been a day kind of curious since the last few interview dates went by but no one knew where they were released from. I haven't tried to contact them again and they haven't sent anything else to me. Give them a couple of days to write/edit whatever. Don't know how long it normally takes.

This would now be the second interview that gathered questions, had a date for the interview... then the date passes and nothing. Did Bitell (or whatever it was) ever publish their interview?

I have a feeling bitell just assumed they were going to be able to interview friedcat when they had the Shenzen meetup. But never really confirmed it with him.

As an aside anyone know whose facility this is Saw it in another thread and its dated yesterday and thinking who has the scale to build this thing in China http://www.thecoinsman.com/2014/08/bitcoin/inside-one-worlds-largest-bitcoin-mines/A week after I visited the last bitcoin mine in northeast China, I was able to arrange a trip to a larger, even more secretive operation. These exclusive photos provide a glimpse inside one of China’s largest bitcoin mines. Oh and it claims to have 5% of the Bitcoin network

Is the company still gaining anything at this point by keeping the mining address classified? I feel as though an announcement (especially a positive one) would attract consumer attention to the tubes and possibly boost sales. Nothing like letting your own work endorse you...
