it looks like we are on the verge of another bitcoin bubble, I hope that AM doesn't leave us all behind on some of the good fortune.

Might be the worst prediction I have ever seen

You must have missed that PayPal is now accepting bitcoin, and we are on the verge of the fall mania that saw the bubble last year, so history could easily repeat.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

 Roll Eyes

The PayPal news bumped us to $450 for a few hours...then back down we went.  I love Bitcoin, but I do not see anything currently that will make us go back towards the moon...for now. I hate to be bearish too  Embarrassed

The man is in the middle of a new product launch/shipping/support, potential large scale deployment of mining gear for own operations and probably new chip design/tapeout. Pretty sure attending to the relentless whining and nagging from this thread is quite low on his list of priorities right now.

This is the lamest excuse fanboys keep posting over and over. It doesn't take more than a few minutes to make a post.

I think there is a FB or twitter account that's parsing out relevant AM communications. (puke)
Maybe someone can share the account - I watched it for awhile, but died of boredom.

Yes, the thread is huge, but its structure is simple and unchanging. It goes like this:

  • Start: Friedcat or a board member posts something.
  • Relevant comments and questions appear.
  • Optionally, some answers appear.
  • A couple more relevant comments appear, FUD & speculations starts.
  • FUD & speculations overtake the discussion. Off topic, stupid and funny comments (just like this one), haters' comments appear.
  • No further information from Friedcat or board member produces extra more of these for very long time.
  • Here and there a serious, sophisticated post appears, but is immediately killed with FUD & others.
  • Then suddenly, after weeks/months, go to Start.

Yes... clearly anyone who exhibits any concerns or doubts in the months during which there is no new information is "spreading FUD" or a "hater". Couldn't possibly be that such comments are perfectly legitimate in the face of a lack of information, lack of dividends, and a repeated failure to live up to promises/expectations.

Are you gonna deny that every doubter here goes through this predictable cycle of hope and despair?
People who can't control their emotions shouldn't be  participating in ultra risky investments, especially in exotic and illiquid ones as this.

But there are people who have a problem with AM for whatever reason - and pounce with poison at any given opportunity.

I think some of them have competing interests in the space.
Or, some might have something personal or hurt feelings.

But, they really do try to make shit worse.

Online trolls are psychopaths and sadists, psychologists claim:

No, that would be a misinterpretation of my words. I say that the most relevant comments are likely to be close to FC/board member comment, but this does not mean that ANY other comment is hater/FUD/whatever. I think that is true, you do not?

That's definitely true.

Time is an investment. Either trolls have a pitiful social life or they indeed have some hidden agenda. Anyway i admit its been rough times as an AM investor. Still believe its for the best tho. Bring it on FC.

Yes. Some of them put an amazing amount of effort into their ceaseless troll-posts -- even if their posts were sincere, it's hard to imagine any regular human having enough energy to keep up the campaign. Either they have ulterior motives, or are slightly insane.

Yes but the their behaviour surely doesn't damage AM itself, since it continues to sell and deliver to the consumers. It just damages people who invested in the stock market.
