We have a G4 tape out, big tubes, little tubes and dividends to talk about:
Which shall we?

The current bitcoin price must be really squeezing friedcats bottom line.

if FC get squeezed i cant imagine how bad are teh competitors.

I would assume about the same for most of them. I really do not think AM pays much less than any other Chinese ASIC company such as Bitmain or Scam-alon etc...

So is this stock officially garbage? The CEO has disappeared. Any board members know what's going on?

He holds regular board meetings (monthly I believe) and posts to his hardware announcement threads.  He has not disappeared, in fact he recently held a public 'salon' where he was physically present breaking his anonymity for the first time.

I'll let you decide if the stock is garbage.

It would be a very bad timing to decide to pull a scam and then to show his face to the world.

Hope those mining farms are nice and hidden, could get messy over in China, the housing market looks like its tanking hard and could be some unrest

He was making posts last week releasing a new product and answering questions about it. He was last online today. In what world does that come across as disappeared?

It would be comforting to get an update about how the current situation's turmoil is or could affect the operation. If it continues to escalate what hindrances might pop up?

Not to say I don't support everyone there who is taking action, but what is ASICMiner's and friedcat's stance on recent events?

Edit: More or less how will AM's 3-4 month timeline be affected assuming the protests push forward? Or is AM and their suppliers far enough removed to not cause concern?

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.

And remember, competitors don't need to pay divs for hungry shareholders, they could re-invest whole profit. So who is in better position?

Either way the company stakeholders are being payed or not being payed. Makes no difference if those stakeholders are some private entity or shareholders.

Other Information:

•   Production for DataTank No. 1 has already commenced and AM BE200 hardware is the hardware of choice for initial deployment. We are currently evaluating if Scrypt hardware will be available in time for at least a partial deployment to use some spare capacity.
